I had the soft shell crab dinner which was delicious. It had a light breading on it sitting on a bed of rice, celery and onions I believe. Our server Trey was fantastic and gave us honest feedback when asking about menu selections. The view was stunning, especially at sunset.

Beautiful facility, great staff; however, the meal was interesting yet lacking. Wonderful roasted vegetables, great Trifle. However, appetizers were not served & food varied. My friends pork chop was pleasingly plump & moist, my husband’s looked as if it came from a shoe. I gave mine away. The most disappointing of all was the lack of home made bread, the meal really needed bread!

I have never had a meal with as poor a price:food quality:service experience as the one shared tonight for a birthday celebration at Springhouse. We have eaten there three times. The first visit was during the first few years of operation. The food and service were excellent. We ate there again this summer to celebrate an engagement. We had a party of 6 and we were stuck in an awful table in the corner by the front door. The food was mediocre at best but we thought perhaps it was just a busy weekend in the summer with inexperienced staff. We went again this weekend for a 60th birthday celebration. Same table. Our dish was literally a bag of frozen vegetables with boiled chicken, no seasoning and a large biscuit on top. It arrived with some of the ingredients barely thawed out! The staff left all the menus piled in the middle of the table, failed to remove empty plates and glassware. Several entrees were $50 each. I have never written a review before, but this beautiful facility is crying for a different chef and owner. It was not just disappointing. It was terrible.

They always have food that is out of this world amazing. Seasonal finds and an ever changing menu. You’ll never be disappointed in the food. The service is also out of this world. Each person is amazingly attentive, and they truly care that you have an amazing experience. They always go above and beyond. It also helps that this place is situated in the hills overlooking a beautiful landscape of rolling hills and the stables down below. Highly recommend visiting.
