One of the best waffles I’ve ever had. A nice crisp with buttery interior. The coffee is good! No weak stuff here. Really friendly service. Reminds me of Al’s on dinkytown, but with old tourists instead of hungover frat bros.

Really a cute place! Dining cars used to be very popular and this one was built in the 1920s. This dining car has been restored. It’s like going back in history. The owner is the friendliest person and, if not busy, willing to sit and talk with you. The food is also very good and reminds me of an old fashioned cafe. I wish it was open more because so often when I have been in town it has been closed.

Gordie and Val really know how to whip up a nice hash brown! My fiancé and I went here the last day before they closed for the season- they were out of meats, but Gordie threw in green peppers and onions in our hash browns for free!
