We decided to try the local pizza place tonight and what a mistake. The flavor was ok, but when we asked about the size of the small pie we were told a small was “14 inches of pizza” over the phone. Obviously the 12 year old who worked there didn’t know what a ruler was. 4 small pies came to $80 – eighty – eighty dollars – 4 small pizzas. $80. Did you get that? We got them home and the cook on the crusts across 4 pies was raw to burnt. This is pizza for drunk people in the bar and maybe those who brought their kids out so they could have fun – fine, we get it. But this is NOT a take out pizza place so go spend $40 elsewhere and get twice the pizza for half the cost. Booooo

If I could rate this negative stars I would do so. We just moved to Middletown. We got a flyer in the mail and are looking to find “our new places” to go. So we went. What a mistake. A large pizza, garlic bread and 2 sodas were $39.71. I gave them $40 I guess they decided I did not need my change back. Anyway, the place is filthy. The table had dried ice cream and other items adhered to the table – they clearly had been there quite some time. The massive cob web in the corner above us was disturbing. Now the food. Have you ever been to Chuck E Cheese? Well then you have had this pizza before. Limp crust, it was cold and tasteless. The sauce for the garlic bread was freezing cold. There is really no place to sit. It’s not a restaurant, the main space is taken with corn hole and then a bar. Then advertise your place as such. So disappointed. It might be in a brick oven but frozen pizza in my oven would have been better. Oh and we had to go pick up our items when they were ready and bus our own table when we were done. Yeah needless to say we will never be back and if you were smart you will do the same!

The pizza is amazing, but my only critique is that it generally arrives lukewarm or cold from doordash. When it comes out of the oven they need a place to keep it warm while they wait for it to be picked up.

I dont know how a place can mess up something as easy as making pizza.. i called tonight to order 1 Large half pepperoni pizza. When i called, they picked up and hung up on me. I called back from 2 different phones about a dozen times. They never answered. So i went on their website and placed an order from there. Its about as simple as it gets, half pepperoni. First of all, it was 33.22 for one large pizza. Thats absurd to start. I got an order confirmation, with the correct order. I sent my friend to pick up the pizza. They charged him, after i had already paid online. And they gave him a large double pepperoni pizza on the entire pizza. They eventually fixed it. But for 33 dollars, they should have sprinkled gold ontop of it and had the correct order ready, on time. Get it together. And stop being so greedy. Pepes doesnt even charge 33 dollars

1 star is generous. If I could rate 0 stars I would. I usually don’t spend the time to write reviews but this was so bad I had to. Let’s start off with that a large pizza is about 30 dollars and you only get 4 slices. Ordered a Margherita pizza which on their menu claims to be fresh mozzarella and basil. There was absolutely no basil on the pizza and it wasn’t fresh mozzarella. It was some squares of cheese (guessing cheddar) cut up and melted onto the pizza. The pizza was also freezing cold. I asked for 2 sodas and didn’t receive them. The cheesy garlic bread was also missing basil and was freezing cold. I called to make a complaint and to see if I could be refunded. They don’t have a manager so there was “nothing they could do”. Apparently they were out of basil and mozzarella. What Italian pizza restaurant is out of those ingredients, and why sell to a customer without warning them they don’t have those ingredients. Girl on the phone was nice.. I feel bad that she has to work at a joke of a restaurant like this. Place needs to be shut down

Ever since our first time having their pizza when they first opened, we’ve gone back several times and have always had great food and a great experience! The Bianco and The Figgy Piggy are two of our favorite go to orders. I was shocked to see the one star review (which included inaccurate information if you look at the menu and simply seemed like slander) and wanted to come here to say how highly I’d recommend this place and their food!
