We were headed to Stockton Lake and had heard this place was featured in Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. The atmosphere is fun! Gnomes everywhere and kitschy sayings on the walls. They have these homemade chef hats suspended from the ceiling on an elaborate pulley system that lower and raise on fishing line each time the door opens and closes. The burgers are fantastic! Do NOT skip the cheese…it makes the burger and includes a crunchy cheese “skirt” created from the cheese melting onto the grill. The burger comes with instructions on the best way to eat it. The grilled cheese is also made with their fantastic cheddar! The prices are very reasonable and the quality exceptional!

I’m not from Stockton, but as fate would have it I became friends with a guy from the town. We made the hour trip from Springfield just to give it a try, and boy was it worth it! The Squeeze with Cheese is all you need, and I’ve been a few more times for a bachelor party and before a wedding. I even made the trip with two other friends, one from STL and one from Japan, to have them visit the place. Both of them felt it was worth the drive. Ruth even recognized me from my previous visits, despite me not being in the area. This is truly a hidden gem of Missouri! I can’t recommend it enough.

Goos style burger and wonderful french fries and if you like lots of cheese you would give it a 10. I am more of a crispy steak burger fan so the burger is just not my style but I like the place and would go back. Dr pepper on ☝️ point.

This was a delightful surprise while in Stockton for business. With the name the Squeeze Inn… We had to give it a chance. We weren’t disappointed, and the Squeeze Burger, while very messy to eat, was a good ol fashioned griddle burger, with quality bacon, fresh veggies and what seemed like homemade buns. Definitely will be going back to try the Steak Sandwich next time I’m in town!

This place was awesome. The atmosphere is really cool. It is like a little museum. The Squeeze Burger with cheese is delicious, the fries are fresh cut potatoes really good and the BLT has a ton of Bacon .
