After a spectacularly cruddy day we both decided sushi was the answer. I’d never been here and it was close so that is where we went. We arrived during happy hour so got a few things for a reduced price. We had the Vegas roll, the East Meets West, Surf N Turf and Flying Phoenix. They were all great, with a toss up between East and Phoenix as to our favorite choice for the evening. The service was friendly and quick. We will definitely be back for more!

Excellent dinner. Was a little busy but not as much as we thought on Super Bowl weekend. We got there before it got really busy. Always enjoyable food and atmosphere. Go doing 3-7pm for happy hour pricing.

Great squid salad, very “beefy”. Fried rice was great! Sushi rolls were nothing special. Pretty pricey. Good overall tho. I’d go back.

Squid Ink sushi bar. It was good, it was filling, it was a little too pricey for me. Usually I’d say that $6 for a California roll isn’t bad, but that’s only when it’s on happy hour, and it’s also only served with 6 pieces instead of $8, bringing the price to $1 per piece.

Haven’t been to squid ink in probably 10 years. Definitely a fun and lively atmosphere. Nice patio area. Decent happy hour with large sushi portions. Sushi is more like 3.5 stars, as some were better than others. But the price was nice. Server was nice and our food came quick.

Favorite place for sushi! The food is excellent, especially the sushi rolls. Always so clean inside. Great customer service. Decor is great, every time I’ve gone the music was PERFECT. Such a vibe. They took really good care of me on my birthday with a free dessert too! Highly recommend!

Squid Ink is one of my favorite family-friendly happy hour spots in the West Valley. The patio is beautiful, and when Micah performs live music, you don’t want to miss! Our favorite roll is the East Meets West. The jalapeño pico de gallo on top is such a nice touch! Everything we’ve had here has been great, and the servers are all incredibly attentive. Parking can be tough sometimes, because it is usually a very busy shopping center. Add Squid Ink to your happy hour bucket list!

Very dry and didn’t taste that fresh.

Over rated comes to mind after dining here. Don’t get me wrong, the atmosphere is great and they have some unique options on the menu but overall, the food is lacking and the sushi quality was poor. The best thing we had was the calamari but the rolls rely too heavily on sauces and garnishes and the sashimi was sub par. I’d recommend going almost anywhere else.

Always a good time here with amazing food. Sat at the bar to watch the sushi chef’s. Started with pot stickers and crab rangoon. Which were really good and tasty.
