I was quite new to this place and I found this place which has got different kinds of Dosa Options available. If you are Dosa Lover I think this has to be your go to stop to try.Coming to the quality it is commendable, as it gives an authentic flavor. The restaurant is well maintained and most importantly the orders were delivered within no time…I am looking forward to stop by and try other options as well.

Every now and then, I have friends that wil pick my brain for great local spots to eat often with a certain food in mind. Recently, a coworker asked where to score a great dosa from. Parsippany is home to many great Indian restaurants, and surprisingly, while I love Indian food, have never ventured into the world of Dosas.

It is a self service restaurant where you can have a quick south Indian snacks. Food is reasonably priced and so is the taste.

I had always been getting my Mysore masala Dosa from here. Never a problem. Ordered one yesterday and saw I was given maybe a spoon of potatoes. I called the place the same day to speak with someone. The lady who is the cook refused to listen and said she gave enough. She told me she will give another today. When I got there, she again refused to think she gave me a spoon of potatoes. I said I have pic I can show but didn’t want to see. She said if I want extra potatoes I have buy extra. Mind you I never complained before with the decent amount that was given before but just wasn’t willing to give or change mind. I told them they just lost a customer. Very disappointed for the service that was provided and no apology either. Not recommended. I had to take my previous rating out after today’s experience.

This place has a different sambhar each time you go which gives me the impression that they make fresh food. The place might feel run down but the food is really good. The prices are very reasonable and they take credit cards, unlike other businesses. Staff is friendly and it is mostly self-service.

First things first: to level set expectations of service and ambience etc,, this is a “no frills” counter serve place. The food came out pretty quickly and it was very good (I had the iddly and a masala dosa). The food is served on disposable plates. You get plastic cutlery and serve yourself water in plastic cups that are along the back wall. You serve yourself sambar from one of those hot soup pots that they have at salad bars (the sambar was very good). They could clean the tables and floors more than they do currently, and it would make a big difference to the feel of the place. But it is good for what it is. The food was very good.

Look, you’re not going here for date night. But if you are, it’s because you’re both foodies.

Delicious South Indian food ever had in the US. We had dosa, idli, medu vada and uttapam. Highly recommend if you are visiting NYC. Worth the drive. We went there all three days we were there. The ambience is not worth discussing so ignore that.

Their dosa & idly are one of the best in the area but main problem is consistency. However since past few visits, their consistency has improved a lot..

We ordered the idli vada and dosa combo. Totally worth it. Two people can easily eat it.
