We stumbled upon this place on our way home from a hike. It was around 6:30 p.m. and it was not super busy. There were some empty tables. It was our first time here. Nobody greeted us when we walked in. Maybe because we’re Asian?! A couple of employees saw us at the bar but they ignored us. We figured they were just busy so we just stood there and waited patiently. However, when we finally approached a waitress at the bar to ask about their hours and menu, she was rude to us and she didn’t really want to help us. We almost left, but another server there was kind enough to help us. Samantha was welcoming, kind, attentive, approachable, and she was very good to us. If it wasn’t for her, I would give this place a 1 star for the way we were treated by the first waitress. As for the food, the appetizers and calzone we ordered were delicious and the wait time wasn’t too long.

Once again, St Charles lived up to their reputation of having one of the best pizzas in Tuolumne County. We arrived at lunch time, and it was crowded. We immediately found 2 bar stools (many families prefer a table). We ordered within a minute or so, and had our Motherlode pizza very quickly. It was made perfectly as usual. We even got a couple of sarsparilla sodas to match the old time atmosphere.

Wow! The BEST pizza I have ever had! So yummy! And a vintage decorated venue with great staff! Our server made us laugh many times, their uniform totally sets the mood, plus he had the best tips on building our own pizza.

We had Hippie pizza (substituted the sauce and a topping) and it was great.. Esther was amazing with a perfect score on service.. Place ambience is great with lots of options to eat and drink.. We went on a Friday night and it wasn’t too busy. There is indoor and outdoor seating

Really good pizza and very reasonable prices. Had the pickle pizza, hippy pizza and an Italian salad. Pickle was better than expected. 10 minute walk from the airport. Outdoor seating. Staff wears masks, patrons mask wearing is mixed but at least it’s outdoors.

This place bustles with the same energy it probably had back in the nineteenth century. And oh boy does it look the part! This one needs a six-star category for atmosphere. It is quite busy on days when it is inclined to be. A trip to Colombia is not complete without a pop into this historic spot for some present-day pizza, which is itself quite good!

I give this place a amazing 5 stars. As soon as I walk in the place I smell pizza. There is also a beer bar so if you wanna have some beer this is the place. The pizza has very good cheese like when I say good cheese like the cheese pull was amazing. The workers were nice and quick. As soon as we sat down they took our order. Lemonade is my recommend drink.
