This was our second visit. We had a wonderful dining experience last year so we would like to give this place a second try. First thing first, the atmosphere was superb as usual, it was in an old stable. Highly recommend folks to come and experience it. As for the food, we thought they were not as good as before. Perhaps that was because we went to this place at 8pm last time. Overall the food quality was still great. Though it was a bit pricey.

Wow I was amazed! Took my wife there for her birthday and wasn’t too sure how good it was going to be when I first saw the place from the outside. It’s true never judge a book by its cover! I loved this place. The staff was very polite and attentive to our drinks being filled our food being cooked to our liking. Nostalgic stable look but very, very clean cut look. I enjoyed the food and place so much I forgot to continue to take pics to add to this review. I will remember next time I go. Excellent establishment!

Came here for dinner on a Tuesday evening. Loved the inside and the history. I had the chicken with bernaise sauce with garlic mashed potatoes. There is a bread basket to start with and comes with butter and some sort of spread with parmesan cheese and it was fantastic. The meal also included soup or salad. By recommendation of our server I had the wedge of lettuce with a blue cheese and balsamic glaze and it was fabulous. I typically don’t eat all of my dinner salads but I devoured the whole of this one because it was outstanding. My chicken and potatoes were delightful and I unfortunately didn’t have room for dessert. Will was our server and he was entertaining and super attentive, refilling my iced tea about 4 times. Fabulous dining experience.

The food was very good ( I had a side salad and it was so/so) steak cooked to perfection and the flavor was terrific. The garlic mashed potatoes were wonderful. The bread pudding is outstanding and you can take it to go and reheats great at home. It’s incredibly dark in the restaurant but that lends to its old time atmosphere. It was a bit annoying that the steak options do not list the ounces/size of the steaks. Only the cost of the steak. Also the wines by the glass do not list the costs either. Overall good experience and would go again.

Celebrated a birthday here last night. Pro tip: this place gets busy around Valentine’s day, so make your res in advance. All of the meat dishes, salad, soups were terrific. Knowledgeable wait staff, great wine list, terrific ambience. Best dessert – bread pudding!

Absolutely amazing. Everything that I tried had it’s very own twist and subtle deviation from the original dish that made it spectacular. Highly recommend the pork shank. It was certainly as advertised by the bar tender as “ thanksgiving meal on a plate”. The “barn stable” atmosphere was very unique and welcoming. I will be back, possibly in a couple hours for another Bacon old fashion.

Our party of 8 received excellent service on a Friday night. We were celebrating my parents 50th anniversary. Our server went over the specials and answered all questions. Food was perfectly prepared and delicious.
