Great outdoor seating overlooking the lake. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Our server was on the ball and very nice. The food wasn’t as good as I was expecting for the price. Not terrible by any means but still not up to the standard I was expecting from this establishment. The fries that came with the lobster roll were cold when they arrived and I’ve had better oysters. All in all it’s not a bad place to share an appetizer, have a drink, and enjoy the lake view.

Lovely place with great views. Crock of seafood chowder for 11.50 was very short on seafood, 1 shrimp and mostly cream and potatoes, good flavor though. Whitefish sandwich was a 3″ ×4″ piece of fish on a nice bun with lettuce and tomato for close to $19 with no sides. I’m in the food business and realize that prices are up, but Staffords was a little disappointing. Service was great!

We went to celebrate a special occasion. The atmosphere was really nice. The menu had some great items on it. I had the surf and turf – it was well cooked and a nice portion. The drinks were also good but a too expensive. I would recommend eating here for a special occasion. Would have gone for a full 5 stars but the service was lacking – the server was overwhelmed with a party of 10. Our food all came at different times and drinks were slow or forgotten.

What a great place to visit. One of the best restaurants in the area. We drove from boyne mountain to this place as we heard about it. We arrived At 8 pm and they were very busy Saturday night. They were able to seat us outside in a nice table with a great view. Our server Anna was more than great. Her smile and way of talking and explaining the menu was amazing. The food was great. I had the fish sandwich and was very good.

Service was good. We were not crazy about the food. Escargot was not good, fried walleye wasn’t terrible but while dish lacked seasoning. Wife wasn’t crazy about her meal either. The artichoke spinach dip was good.

Meal was wonderful, after drinks at the outside bar, servers all friendly. The wait for a table was much longer than we were told, with lots of empty tables inside. On a Tuesday maybe a smaller staff working? We would have appreciated more accuracy, with the hosts at front giving different timelines.
