It has taken me a minute to write this review. My family went to Stagecoach last Sunday for what we thought was going to be a wonderful lunch. Although the food was good the service was horrible. If you have any type of food allergies this wouldn’t be a restaurant for you. My niece is allergic to eggs. Everywhere we go we have to ask if food items have egg in them or have been cook on the same surface as eggs. When we asked which foods may contain egg, we were told very rudely that they didn’t know and if there was a chance just don’t eat it. We were very stunned by the response because we have never had this type of response from any other place we have been. We spoke to the owner at the end of our visit. She was unapologetic and very rude giving excuse after excuse as to why she would not check to see what foods had egg. We asked about other food allergies and what she would say to those people. Her response “I would tell them to eat the green beans” and laughed. Food allergies can be serious and are nothing to joke about. We will not return to this restaurant but I felt it important to share our experience here so others with food allergies doesn’t have to endure the rudeness of this owner and her employees.

Hidden gem!! We were on a road trip and I found this place on a Google search. This place could put Cracker Barrel out of business. The building is quaint and plain, but the food is worth posting on social media and telling all your friends about. The vegetables are cooked to Perfection. It’s true Southern Home Cooking. We ate here four days ago, and again today as we passed back through this area. It’s four miles off the interstate but worth finding. Full of locals and older people. The fried chicken, the vegetables, the salad bar, dessert, everything was just incredible. $11 included drink and dessert and tax.

Service is good. Kind of an all you can eat but the staff does the servings. I like that. Mostly comfort foods like fried chicken, okra, biscuits, gravy etc.

The food was some good delicious southern cooking! People were nice, atmosphere felt like being invited to dine at your grandma’s house in the countryside, and the stagecoach buffet was served to us behind a screen by servers which I thought was nice. Just wish the food could have been a little hotter.

This is a great place that I have just found in Stockton AL. Buffet style with ever changing menu. Great fried chicken and many many vegetables. Service wad great and so were the prices. Thanks Stagecoach will be back many more times.

I went with a few people for the lunch buffet. Been there before and even though I love to eat have never made a second trip because the food is so filling, home cooked, seasoned perfectly and satisfying. Highly recommend! And leave room for the best banana pudding in town!
