I found a new favorite Breakfast Place. I had the haystack. It is biscuits and gravy covered with hashbrowns, sausage, eggs and more gravy. Oh so good I could not finish it all. Wife had chicken fried stake and a giant pancake. It was all so delicious

The service was excellent. The skillet breakfast and blueberry pancake were very good. If you are driving through Star in the morning definitely stop in for breakfast. You will not be disappointed.

Had breakfast today at the Star Country Cafe. This is an old fashioned place, nothing fancy here. The food was good except the home fries were dry and not much taste but, the chicken fried steak and gravy was really good. I had a vegetable omelet. It was made from liquid eggs which isn’t my favorite but, most restaurants don’t use fresh eggs anymore to save money. The vegetables were really good and my hash browns were good too. The serve started off poorly but, got better after abit. We will come back again.

$$$ This is your 60s small town Star Cafe on a busy street , great little place limited seating patrons are mostly the locals. Waitresses were attentive and very friendly great service. I love chicken fried steak so here you get a half order, gravey was best I have had in Meridian area since I have been here. Lots of choices of food for your tastes all your choices are reasonable priced and delicious, this is one of our favorite places………Please follow to see my Idaho journeys……………. ………..

Always a nice spot to have breakfast! We tried to beat the “rush” but its kind of difficult when its the best spot to be on a Sunday morning! French toast and eggs and pancakes,delicious meal. Has the country home feel of a small town! Always bring a smile and an appetite!

Had breakfast here for first time today, a Wednesday morning 8 am. Good amount of people, but not full. Servers very responsive. Lots of breakfast choices. Food was hot, tasty and as ordered. Will return.
