I’m new to Georgia and have been looking for a go to Chinese restaurant. I’ve passed Star East almost daily on my way to work, so I figured I’d give them a try. The first thing I noticed is that they had a health department score of 100 A. As I walked into the small restaurant ( I’d wager they can’t seat more than 20) I was impressed by how spotless the place is. I’m guessing they do mainly takeout, hence the small dining area. Any way I ordered the small hot and sour soup, shrimp egg rolls, Mongolian beef to take to work.

Omg so good. Better than any other location in Austell. Always open on Mondays and the lady always gives me extra soy sauce but I’m always willing to pay. She is so sweet and the food is amazing. Great customer service reasonable prices and large portions. House rice is the best

Food is delicious and they give you good size portions. I did an Uber eats order and called in to ask a question and one of the workers said they may be out of the sugar donuts. I said it’s okay and she said she would call back if she doesn’t have any. When I tell you they made fresh donuts for me!!! And they were so soft and gooey!! Great customer service definitely will be going back

I only eat at this Chinese restaurant. But today I got really disappointed. I always order sesame seed chicken and fried rice. Got the food. It was sesame seed chicken and rice with No peas no carrots no broccoli in it. I ask the lady where the veg she said it don’t come with veg. I said well what about just broccoli she said I give u some that’s it. I said ok . They was busy she was just give people food so quickly. I know they was busy but take Pride in your food . The sesame seed chicken and egg roll I got at this Chinese Restaurant today no salt in it. It was so so nasty. The egg roll didn’t taste like egg roll . I was so mad. I will not return here.

It is the first time being here since under new management. Staff was very pleasant and attentive. I tried the shrimp fried rice. I got it To go and didn’t get to eat it until 45 min later when I got home. It was surprisingly still fresh tasting and moist. I loved it . Would definitely recommend.

Decided to give this place a shot and did not disappoint! Their braised wings are perfectly crisp with the glaze on top. Chicken fried rice is great too. Very generous portions. I’d say it’s one of the top Chinese restaurants in this area

I used to be a frequent customer but noticed that the menu has underwent a lot of changes and new faces have taken over. I decided to still give them a try and the food is not the same.
