We love wheated bourbon. Maker’s Mark is missing out on offering tastings to customers. A lot of the other distilleries do this without having to take a tour. They need to offer something special in the gift shop that you cannot get anywhere else and not just the founders series. Maybe bring something out different each day that is difficult to find but if you’re spending your time at The Distillery you can score something fun. Would have liked to take a photo of all of the Bourbons on the wall inside where you met for the tour but since we weren’t taking a tour I really didn’t feel welcome to do so. We moved on down to the gift shop which is a bit of a haul. They do have pretty grounds and fun pictures to take.

WOW! Legitimate first class dining here. We ate lunch here in September of 2022 as part of a private barrel selection experience and we were all pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food.

We went after our tour and was very excited to try out the place as when I was doing research to booking our Golden ticket tour it seemed amazing. We were completely dissatisfied with the very small selection of food. We got a order of fries to share and they were very good indeed, however the overall selection was not as anticipated or as it seemed would be available for previous reviews and research. I ordered a drink that was supposed be be a slush style and was told the machine was inoperable and they could still make it, just would be in a highball. That was no issue, especially as the drink was extremely good without being a slush. The little we did experience was good, just very disappointed with the mediocre selection.

Fantastic place to dine after your visit at the Maker’s Mark Distillery. Food is incredible and their cocktails is an envy of everyone when you taste the sophisticated notes of each drink. Your palate will thank you with each plate that comes to your table. Not about the serving size, but rather the unique flavor profiles of each ingredient comes out and shines. You can taste each fresh ingredient and it shines with natural taste. Seasoning is very minimal than what we are used to, so it shows great pride in them showing off the natural food ingredients. Job well done to the head chef and great job with mixology on your cocktails. The “Smoke and Mirrors” cocktail is a favorite, you need to try.

Very nice property. Restaurant was closed for club members only. No other place to get food from on the property. The drinks where served on paper cups from the restaurant window. Drinks where terrible and expensive. The gift shop, very over-priced.
