Just went in for 2 slices. The guy took my order but I still had to wait for the lady on the phone to take my order. She took a good 5 mins. Not because it was a big order but they’re just bad workers. Looks like they’re trying to take as long as possible to take your order so they can make you leave so they don’t have to work. She tried to charge me 8 dollars for 2 a slices of pizza. I cancel and they’re all just happy they don’t have to work. I went up the block to king wok and got 3 times the food for almost the same price. They need new workers that crew is terrible!!!

I ordered a special with 2 Large Pizzas , 20 buffalo wings and 2 liter soda on doordash at around 6 o’clock and didn’t receive my food until 7:15pm. That’s just the start of it. The pizza was the worst pizza I’ve ever had in my life and i work as a pizza cook. I know what dough taste like that hasn’t settled and isn’t cooked at the right temperature. It was extremely hard and undercooked. I would give 0 stars if i could. Also i tried to add pepperoni after i ordered and they tried to charge me $5 for 1 topping which is ridiculous. The wings were okay but they never give you exactly how many wings you order. I always get shorted.

Ordered from here on Friday night (2 nights ago now) for myself and Roommates. We ordered a pizza, fries, cheesesteak and a few tuna hoagies. In the past I have never had a problem with Star, I actually switched to star from another local pizza place maybe a year and a half ago or so! Very disappointed this time tho! Our pizza was literally see through! It was unnecessarily thin and there was no evidence of sauce and in the right light I could 100% see my hand thru the slice I was holding! The 2 tuna hoagies were supposed to be one with the all the usual toppings of a hoagie while the other was supposed to be cheese with no toppings! First let me say the tuna was soupy, it was evident that the water the tuna was canned in was not drained at all and our requests were not followed! Both hoagies came with the toppings that I had only requested be on the one! Upon calling the shop to let them know of the mistakes and our disappointment in the pizza I was flat out told “well you get what u pay for!” EXCUSE ME? Because what I paid for was a large pizza (that is supposed to come with crust as well as sauce and cheese, even if the store offered a thin crust pizza that is not what I ordered and crust should never be so bad that it’s see through even if it’s advertised as thin crust (which to my knowledge it is not)! I also paid for the other items I ordered which by giving this shop our money I expect to have my requests met, especially when your charging $1 if I want to add mayo to my cheesesteak! Needless to say I may not order from here again not really because of the food mistakes but mainly because of the horrible comment and customer service I experienced! It’s a shame because I could be ordering with 5 or 6 other people on any given night and when we place and order it can range anywhere from $70-100, seems like this place didn’t value a customer like us and that might be the worst part

would not recommend. order a pizza for me and my family I took a bite into my crust and felt something hard I spit my food out and this was in my crust!!! when called and went to the store I got nothing but attitude (and $15 back) not to mention the owner was mad at ME because I didn’t bring back a pizza that had metal in it, ( be mad at your workers not me. )

This is one of my favorite eateries in the area. Unfortunately the neighborhood around it has taken a nose dive and is on the verge of becoming a drug infested shell of what it used to be. Back to the topic. The food here is great, and no one tops “The Chef” gourmet pizza. I also like the whole chicken wings although they are quite expensive, but to be fair, chicken wings are even high in the supermarket! The Chicken Cheese Steak platter (lunch deal) is one of my favorites as well. If you haven’t yet, give it a try. It’s a good spot.

I’m Changing my rating I ordered well done bacon on a chicken cheese steak. It was barely cooked . And when I called back to ask for my order to be made with cooked bacon I was told bacon can’t be well done unless it’s bacon bits they use real bacon..yeah I know that’s why I ordered it I don’t like bacon bits. Maybe it’s me but the bacon could have been could have been cooked more then this,;this bacon isn’t finished cooking.

Mad just ordered a med pizza why do this pizza tatas like it’s been sitting around like old. It’s not even cheesy when h bite into it. Not satisfied at all. Half #1 n cheese horrible the toppings taste old cheese taste old the whole pizza tatas old not ordering nothing from here no more every time I order it’s never good or satisfactory. If you want hair, earwax, and etc in your food, this is the place to go. The idea of practicing food safety is slathering on hand sanitizer prior to touching fresh food. I watched employees rub their faces prior to making cold cut sandwiches and etc. The woman was snacking on bacon as she was cutting it. In addition, she cleaned the counter with a dirty rag while the meat was still sitting there. However, she never washed her hands until I asked her to do so. I couldn’t remember the reason why I stopped patronizing this establishment years ago. But, ordering takeout on Monday evening has jogged my memory.
