I had the opportunity to stop into the new Starbuck in between showings ok n Sunday. It’s a great open environment to relax and enjoy each others company. I could see getting out of the office and posting up here for sure.

There was an older black lady and a young black male working the station. Before going to the counter I asked my toddler if he wanted a cake pop. I ordered for me and my son but ended up getting a muffin instead of the cake pop and the loud black older lady working the register gave me attitude because she thought I didn’t get my son anything. It was super weird and uncalled for. I told her the muffin I got was for my son and that he doesn’t like the cake pops. She was so infatuated about the cake pop she forgot to ring up my drink I ordered. When I told them I ordered a drink the male and female laughed and said “I was trynna figure out why she was still standing here”. The whole encounter was unnecessary and I haven’t been back to that Starbucks since.

Not a full service Starbucks. So do not expect to get hot food from here. The seating area is small with no WiFi. It’s not bad if you’re grabbing a quick drink to go or while you shop at Safeway.

My ordered drink came out as expected but noticed several flies in the pastry box. Pointed the flies out to the employee taking my order, who then tried to get them out manually. No interest in removing the pastries in the box nor throwing them out. You can make purchases with your Starbucks app but cannot redeem rewards with the app.

The Starbucks located inside Dover Safeway is my favorite! A new location opened up inside the Target nearby and I will never go there again (bad customer service and more expensive). The workers in the Safeway location are very friendly and make good drinks. It’s also a bonus that they already know what my order is as soon as they see me walking up.
