Terrible service!! I walked in, they’d just opened for the day. I was only customer at that moment. A young black girl barista the only worker. I ordered and paid for a coffee. She proceeded to fix my drink. But before finishing it a black couple walked in. The barista immediately stopped working on my coffee and tended to them (I’m a white male). They chatted casually and placed an order. I waited “patiently “ for what seemed like 4-5 LONG MINUTES. then, she walked back to my drink, put a lid on the cup and handed it to me!! Took 5 SECONDS. She could’ve had me out the door 5 minutes sooner, the black couple would’ve only had to wait 5 seconds. Very inconsiderate and insulting. She didn’t apologize for making me wait, no “thank you”. I’ll never go back to that location – University Place mall next to Harris Teeter.

One of the employees I can’t remember her name but she gave me my drink and did not give me a straw so I reached to grab a straw for myself. She then proceeded to say “please don’t reach behind the counter for straws for safety” what safety ? Because the straws are all individually wrapped. And there was no sign or rule that indicated not to grab your own straw. She must’ve been having a bad day. But for future reference try having better customer service and handing customers their straws with their drink and you won’t have this problem. I normally love this location but sorry won’t be returning. Btw her attitude was nasty and she needs to do better. Whatever her name was !

I have given this location multiple choices because I really wanted it to work out, but I was let down everything time and I give up! Its a great location for me to stop at grab coffee on my way to work and my way home so I felt the need to keep trying even after my drink was bad, even after the Batista couldn’t show me how to use the app for a coupon I had, even after they are literally out of every. Thing. I want every day but today was the last straw. I came in and ordered my drink ICED caramel machiatto add caramel, and cold foam, the Batista asked me if that was a frappachino? anyway the drink she gave me was ready in about 45 seconds and she was the only one working there so I already knew it was wrong, very wrong. I was running late so I took the cup and left. I get to the car and u see whip on top not the cold foam that cost an extra $1.. Then I notice there is NO ice at all in it, then I drink some and there wasn’t even coffee in it. I have had a problem the last 4 times I’ve come so I’m done and whoever the manager is who thinks it’s a good idea to have someone in there alone who doesn’t know how to make the drinks that’s a terrible idea I will find another place to spend $7 a cup at and after today it will probably be dunkin

I came here after a Dementia Class for my new job, and the barista was super nice and made my drink to perfection! I love that I can add the amount of creme that I want to my coffee! Keep up the great work! Wish I could have gotten his name, I didn’t even look at his name tag but overall I’d give 10 stars if I could!!!

The young man working this evening (LJ, I think was his name?) was amazing! He had a line of about 7 drinks come in at once and was able to get them all out in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner. Last thing I want to point out is his courteous and easygoing (but focused) nature.

One of the things you expect to get when you go to Starbucks is a cheerful, if not genuine, “Hey, welcome to Starbucks. What can I get started for you?”. The other thing you expect is excellent, if pricey, coffee. This Starbucks this morning was batting .500, which in baseball is the impossible dream, but in the food service industry is totally unacceptable. The venti white mocha was excellent and met all my expectations, but the customer service was abysmal. When I walked in, I was not greeted at all. I accidentally passed by the register where you place your order and walked all the way across the front of the service counter and then BACK to the register…and still no one greeted me. It was only after standing in front of the register for at least five seconds that the barista gave me a disingenuous, perfunctory, “Can I help you?”. Then when my coffee was being prepared, I was treated to endless drivel from the mouths of the employees discussing who stayed out latest last night. I don’t know when I have been more disregarded and ignored in a food service establishment.

Many folks like Starbucks. I’m personally not a fan. I think they’re overpriced, and burn their coffee beans (an option not shared by all). However, good, friendly service from baristas.

Keep in mind we are in the middle of a pandemic. But, the lid didn’t fit the coffee container. For the last year; every Starbucks I go into, they have limited brewed coffee. I ask for dark roast, it’s suggested I get a pour. Please get back to full service.
