Starbucks should not be allowed to let someone order 30 drinks at one time. Medical staff just want a simple coffee and don’t have time to wait on someone who orders 30+ drinks. We don’t have time to wait 45 minutes. This was even after I placed a mobile order to give them time to make my coffee. Get down there at the estimated time still waiting 30 minutes.

This Starbucks is truly a bright light in a dark place. You would never think that a hospital coffee shop can alter your experience, but the baristas Erin & Katie made me feel heard and understood after sitting in the ER all night with my father. I’ll admit I walked up frazzled and unprepared to order, stressed about holding up the line. These two told me not to worry and spent several minutes helping me find a drink I may enjoy–even told me if I ended up not liking their recommendation they’d make me something else. They ended up giving a great recommendation and even wrote it down for me so I would know how to order it again! 100% a positive experience and would recommend this Starbucks to anyone because of the staff. Special thank you to Erin & Katie, you two made my morning! (And thank you for the sticker on my cup).

It’s a good Starbucks if you plan your time responsibly. Over the past year I’ve been here about 20 times. There is always a little bit of a wait but that is to be expected for a small Starbucks in such a busy hospital. There was one occasion where I waited 20minutes in line. I’ve witnessed first hand how nasty customers as well as Erlanger employees can be to the baristas so if you encounter a grumpy employee it may not be without reason. I make it a point to always be polite and try to make them laugh or smile. As a result my order has never been wrong and is always prepared promptly. I think it’s fair to say that at times they are understaffed in addition to being underpaid and under-thanked. Most of the employees there actually have a pretty good sense of humor. I realize my review is quite different than most so let me say that I am not an employee nor am I affiliated in any way with this place. I think like anything else if you go there expecting a bad experience then that is the experience you will have.

Be prepared to wait. The staff is hit or miss depending on the day. However they charge a dollar less than other locations here for the coffee I usually order so that’s nice! Especially since they are a block from my house

I stood in line for 20 minutes to get just one drink. The two girls at 2:30 pm on 9/29/22 was to busy video chatting with a girl and whoever was on the phone. When I was finally able to order I requested a venti medicine ball. Got rung up. I paid then continued to wait a additional 15 minutes for my hot medicine ball. Ok here is my situation I got my husband which we was at Erlanger Hospital we walked all the way to our truck I got my husband situated then I got in buckled my seat belt. To a drink of my hot medicine ball….. to my surprise it was “NOTHING BUT HOT WATER.” NO TEA BAGS, NO MEDICINE BALL, JUST HOT WATER. I PAID FOR HOT WATER”!!!!

I waited for about 15 minutes, the line was long so I understood and was patient. However, as I was in line a man walked to the front of the line and they made his order. I was shocked. I thought they were all about equality and all that. I was so upset, there were literally 15 ppl in front of this man. I WILL NEVER RETURN. It was just sickening, we are almost all healthcare workers but apparently if you are the director of security and named Phil, you just get to skip the line. Can Phil run a code? Does Phil know how to properly do CPR? But furthermore, if you are Phil do you not have the social awareness that what you’re doing is perceived as inconsiderate at best? I asked Phil and he told me this is what Starbucks told him to do. I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING HERE AGAIN.

Katie is the absolute best! She literally made my daughter feel better after her appointment both times we came here. She’s an amazing barista, and has the absolute best attitude. If I could give 11/10 I would. Thank you becoming a familiar face.

I work in the hospital and go to Starbucks almost every day. The staff has gotten so much better at being friendly an efficient. Most know my order and have it written on the cup before I even get to the register. The staff is all very friendly and will never let you leave without a smile on your face! Very happy to see such positive changes in the last year.
