The food is great but expensive. The service is amazing. The atmosphere… oh the atmosphere… so welcoming. I love the smell of coffee… and I come here all the time for a hot chocolate. They have books you can read from their library. You don’t have to check it out. They go by the honor system. The idea is to bring any book that you have and replace it with a book you like. Simple as that. They also have board games if you want to chill and drink. Lastly, they offer free WiFi. That is a plus in my opinion since WiFi is generally faster than using mobile data.

Sutherland, the barista, today was making conversation and singing and just making the wait pleasant for all the customers. Believe me…there was a wait. They should have had someone there to help him out because there was such a long line. But he made the best of it! Was just stopping on my way through but I’m it’s as good of a Starbucks as any.

Girl upfront. Abigail I believe. Kinda rude. Just stood there no “Hi” “ What can I get started for you?” I had assumed she was new since she was just standing there. Ordered a White chocolate mocha with caramel drizzle and ended up white dark chocolate mocha.I didn’t even bother to try to exchange it.

Had an iced caramel macchiato and chatted with the barista for a few. She is very nice and I enjoy talking with her. She said she liked my hair this new color and we chatted about makeup, hair and clothes for a while..then I went to do my Target shopping. Fun time! Great baristas at this Starbucks!

I was there at a busy time and there was only one employee. He ROCKED though! Sutherland had some of the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. Even though he was swamped, he provided service with a smile and made each customer feel special. He made my day (oh, and he makes a great cup of coffee).

This isn’t about political views, staffing or quality of the product. This is completely about terrible service. In a world where customer service has went south, Starbucks is the leader. I understand the labor shortage, but to be rude and non accommodating should not be acceptable. With the lobby closed and the useless clearlance sign bent down (even though there is no awning or any to hit) my van will not go thru the drive thru. So I went to the door and asked if I could just order a drink and pretend I was in line. They told me no, only if I have the app, which I don’t have and I did not have my debit card to load on it anyway. I again asked if there was any way I could order and pay, the barista rudely said “no” closed the door and walked away. Starbucks competition was more than glad to accommodate me and make sure I was taken care of. If I could give a lower rating to Starbucks customer service I would.
