Exemplary customer service! Michelle was extremely sweet and accommodating, and I will return to this location in the future. She also gave me the recommendation to try a shot of blonde espresso compared to dark espresso, and I may say that I am impressed. It does taste a lot better than the regular espresso, so I appreciate her recommendation! Thank you so much for my birthday drink 🙂 They even wrote happy birthday on my cup. I am new to San Diego and have been going to this Starbucks for the past month or so , they truly provide a great customer experience. Always checking in on all there regulars as well as always coming well with a positive energy, particularly those in the morning shift. They have made my transition so much lighter, and have really been just beyond great. They try to be as quick as possible and are very consistent with quality of drink/food and time they take. I truly have nothing but the best things to say about this Starbucks 🙂

I ordered the iced shaken espresso this morning at drive thru. Normally from other Starbucks it’s my favorite drink. This time it has a weird aftertaste, almost like a burnt espresso flavor. Im not too sure but I keep noticing it when I drink it. Obviously it’s not the end of the world but when you pay $5 for a drink and it doesn’t taste like it should it’s a little disappointing. I’m more writing this in case there is something they can change because I like going to this Starbucks!

I just left here after volunteering to pick up a co workers order. I stood there, the only person at the counter, while a small woman with a red hair and a ponytail chatted extensively with a tall curly haired young man about her plans to buy an Alfa Romero and such. they went back and forth, standing mere inches away and either never asked or wondered why I was at the counter? after five minutes I asked who was going to ask me why I was standing there and what I needed? There were four employee total working just now, but two were engaged in personal chatting while the other two busily worked the window and the register. The red headed woman got angry when I asked for assistant, telling me anyone else would have just grabbed their order from a spot on the counter that was out of reach to me. She actually slapped the sandwich on the counter and handed me the drink, again repeating what ” most people know where to pick up”. This seems easy enough to instruct waiting customers to do, if only she wasn’t so engaged in her future car talk, she would have asked herself why I was standing there still? and notice that perhaps I didn’t know that. I don’t go to Starbucks often and wasn’t impressed with the service enough to consider starting. I can’t wait for the robot revolution to replace these workers. Can’t Wait!!!!! I will go to StarBucks when the useless people have been replaced.

I had a half hour for my lunch break and having a headache today I went in to get a small latte, busy but everyone got their drink but me, more people came in and I still sat, after 30 minutes is over I asked about my order and they have no idea what I’m talking about. When order was ready it sat on counter. Thought it was standard practice to call customers name? Not a big deal but the shop wasn’t hoppin’, therefore they had the extra half a second it would have taken to do so.
