It seemed pretty busy so I didn’t wanna bother anyone for help. As I approached the counter in an attempt to locate the books I had been looking for, I was intercepted by a wonderful young lady that did all the work for me. The only downside would be the fact that they didn’t have a hardcover copy or Neil Gaiman’s Norse Mythology but, I’ll settle for a paperback for now. It’s a damn shame that H.P. Lovecraft’s Great Tales of Horror was in the “bargain bin” though, I can’t complain for $8.

already not a starbucks fan, but I was feeling nostalgic for the holiday drinks while book shopping. I got the NASTIEST attitude from the person at the counter, they literally rolled their eyes when I asked “how are you” and was acting so irritated and impatient while I ordered. I asked for an americano and they audibly sighed, like I asked them to go harvest the coffee beans and roast them from scratch!!! bro there was no line in front of or behind me, why are you acting like you’re too busy to deal with me? also the coffee was nasty so thanks for the reminder that starbucks is trash 🙂

I enjoy browsing through the Lakewood store looking at all the books after I have been to the cafe to get an apple tart and a pumpkin spice latte. The cafe is always clean, the server’s are always courteous and spot on and their manager, Heather, is very knowledgeable in all assets of the cafe, as well as the book side. This is one place I love to go! Thank you Barnes and Noble Cafe, Lakewood WA.

This is a really nice b&n they have a great collection of eveything you would expect. Some nice sitting areas to read and a great children’s section. We love coming here for the Starbucks and to check out any new books we may want to get. Friendly staff.

Warm receptive environment from store employees upon my entry into the store when I asked for needed assistance. What made my visit even more enjoyable was the offer of free coffee, a gesture that enabled me to sit down and relax while I also took advantage of free wi-fi access. A very pleasurable visit.

The checkout line is always long and time consuming. Only one cashier again last night. I waited in line more than 10 minutes, and nobody was ahead of me. The cashier chatted and visited with the lady she was helping, then offered to sign her up for the”club” and that took forever as they chatted some more about her phone number and why it is out of state. Setting up a self checkout would be nice. The cafe should be Starbucks and accept the app for payment.

caught a serious attitude from the man at the register because apparently this starbucks doesn’t accept the starbucks app for payment – which is fine – but didn’t need to be spoken to like i’m ignorant for attempting to use the same form of payment i’ve used at every other starbucks ever. it’s called customer service, my friends.

This Cafe is close to Olympia, right after you turn off I-5 to head towards Aberdeen / or the Coast. It was a welcome “pit stop” on our journey Christmas Eve. Food choices were many, cafe is situated at storefront, with big windows. And there is the bonus of being able to browse the plentiful magazine rack just a few feet away ! Bravo for keeping it consistently wonderful

I think they have a very good selection and if they don’t have what you are looking for they will order it in for you. The store is very organized but there is never anyone available to help you unless you go searching for them….I have never had someone approach me and ask if I needed help. But I love the store…it’s got the greatest variety.
