We just stopped in for a couple drinks and an appetizer. The house made tots were different, but good. Drinks were good and the servers were friendly. Was close to a campground we like so will definitely be back someday.

We’ve never been disappointed at the Stark House Tavern! Great beer selection and an amazing food menu. Everything tastes fresh and homemade. Wonderful outdoor eating area. We’re so happy to have this gem close to us! The wait staff is wonderful too!

My husband and I have been living in the area for 6 years, and embarrassingly enough, have never been here – until last night. We sat at the bar next to another couple who were very nice. We started with some drinks and teriyaki and triple play wings. They were good, though I am not much of a sauce on my wing’s person. For dinner, I got a fried chicken sandwich while my husband ordered a burger. I ate very little, only because I was full from the wings. The onion rings were amazing – food was fresh, reasonably price and the service was amazing. A must stop if you’re in the area. We can’t wait to return soon!

Known for their awesome wings, the Stark House Tavern also has a great daily specials, great beer selections and a fun, casual atmosphere. The servers and bartenders are super friendly and outdoor dining makes it a great summer night out.

Great little spot in Weare. Martinis are totally worth it. Food is good. They also have singers in on Thu, Fri, and Sat nights. Tried the chicken wings – so good. Crunchy and moist – loved the Korean bbq sauce.

We’re regulars and really love the place(5 stars), but today we had to listen to one of their employees(off duty just drinking at the bar) spout off numerous times about “all the idiots” that have stopped drinking Bud Light. Last week when we decided to no longer support Anheuser-Busch, we didn’t go in making a big issue about it. We just said we were changing things up from our usual drinks.

Absolute BS
BEWARE! There is a driveway leading behind the restaurant, and there is a sign that says do no block driveway. I had to park next to the sign to run in and get my take out, and the guy who lives there yelled at me, and I had footprints and dents on my door afterward. The restaurant is great! But if it is packed, watch out for hillbilly neighbors.
