Our interactions with the staff were awesome, very friendly. The Mac and cheese is really good too. I got the flatbread, which was okay. Nice place! Looks like you can reserve the big room for parties and have it catered which is a plus.

I just came in today to listen to some solid blues tracks by the Blues Fugitives with a few of Elmiras’ best-known musicians. Great Blues and at level that’s certainly loud enough, but not so much that a conversation can’t be had. Nice!

We had a nice time. Our waitress was terrific, one of our dishes came late but she made it right. The food was absolutely delicious. We had the peanut butter pie for dessert, it is a must if you go! I’ve never had anything like it. Loved it! We will be back!

Went for fish fry on Friday. Pleasantly surprised that the fish is air fried. The man n cheese is the best I’ve had in the state of New York, better than ANY (yes even better than those who SAY theirs is the best) it was flavorful, creamy and the perfect consistency..not a bit greasy!! We will be going back! THE BEST WE HAVE HAD!

The employees there are extremely rude, disrespectful, authoritative, controlling, and just downright bad for business. Especially towards delivery drivers and people that are new to the establishment. Would not recommend. Even the food is quite mediocre and expensive.

I am gluten-free, but my significant other isn’t. They have an entire gf menu, including gf desserts!!!! Everything I have had, has been delicious!!! I have had gf wraps, the best Garlic burger, gf Mac n cheese, and their gf Raspberry Almond shortbread dessert. They are very careful, to avoid cross contamination. It is wonderful, to be able to eat out and not get sick! My significant other got the regular fish fry, and said mmmmmm, the entire time he ate it!! All of my experiences here have been Fantastic. I highly recommend!!

Walked in to a empty restaurant & bar was greeted with “Do you have a reservation”, informed that the group would have to eat at Bar then we were finally given a table. Placed our order with appetizer. Appetizer came out no plates or even extra napkins so 5 people could place what they wanted to eat. Appetizer was over deep-fryed. Then each person’s order came out one at a time. The meals were horrible and the waitress sucked. The lobster Alfredo was dry not enough sauce on it and due to a horrible waitress never checking in with us that meal could not be ate, extra sauce was given as we were packing the food up. The salad had brown lettuce in it, the fish was over cooked and inedible, and the lobster mac was not something I would feed to anyone I hated. When we complained they offered 15% off but honestly we should not have been made to pay for horrible food. A tip was left for the waitress even though she sucked. We all agreed to never ever go back.

The owner David Ripley and family/staff are the most professional in planning events. I just had my 40th Reunion and David and his family/staff catered to my every need. From table settings to the most fabulous menu and helping to set up the venue for the evening was fabulous. The establishment was perfect for the amount of individuals we had and was extremely comfortable! I would suggest The Starlite Room for any event including enough room for a band for any event!
