This is my third time here and decided to have a Denver omelette with the homemade biscuit. It’s not hard to mess up an omelette so this was pretty good are the biscuits always good with jam. Place is pretty busy for breakfast so my service was OK about average. Of the many breakfast options in Oceanside, start fresh is my go to typically because the wait is not very long and they have a decent selection, prices are reasonable for the portion size.

This place is a must try, if you ever find yourself on coast highway in Oceanside then I highly recommend grabbing breakfast or lunch here. The staff is super friendly the menu has a little bit of everything. The food was really good and the portions were pretty big for the price. I would definitely go back and try out different items on the menu, be sure to get a fresh cut pie for the dessert we ended up with coconut crème pie and was it tasteful. Check it out for yourself you won’t be disappointed.

This is a hike in the wall kind of place. The food was excellent, the service was friendly and the environment very welcoming. It’s an old diner type of feel. Try the breakfast plate. Coffee is good too.

I have been to this place a few times. I always enjoy my dining experience. The staff is always very cordial and attentive, always bringing you coffee and water when it’s needed. The food is amazing and the prices are affordable. My dish is the ABC omelette.

Great Breakfast spot! Great Pie place as well. Love the sign that says, roughly, “We don’t have Wi-Fi, act like it is the 1980’s and talk to the person you’re with” the Key Lime Pie is very tasty and is very lime forward.

Love this place’s great food fast friendly service nice dining area love the old-time-friendly dinner feel. I love that they open early so I can get a bite to eat and coffee before I go to work they have a great menu with lots of my favorite food. We ordered the Big Js omelette, California stuffed hash rows, the high stack and pigs in a blanket. We are a family of 4 with picky eaters. This food was fresh, hot, and amazing. The service was fantastic. We are in the area on vacation, but will definitely be back and are making Start Fresh Cafe one of our must go to when in Oceanside.
