What a darling place! Fast and easy to order, with great sit-down vibes make this almost hidden gem a “must” go-to place. We found this restaurant by accident, and what a fabulous find. The staff behind the counter were knowledgeable, and friendly, with great suggestions. The sausage and brisket were killer good: rich in flavor and tender. Each side was tasty and fresh, too. Holy green beans- who knew they could be so tasty? The coleslaw and beans were scrumptious and a perfect pairing. The only downfall was that the chicken was quite dry, even with the sauce on it. I’m sure it was a fluke considering the other food was quite tasty and satisfying. Gluten-free sauce(and food items labeled!) if you need that, and other dipping sauce as well sit on the table ready for you to dig in. The ambiance was quaint and the tables comfy. Perfect for a nice meal.

Ordered a ribs and brisket plate and a margarita. The margarita was great but the entire plate of food was cold which made it very unappetizing. The food is good but would be a lot better if it was even just warm. Definitely not a good bbq joint if you have to smother it in bbq sauce. If that wasn’t a big turnoff the staff is very unfriendly and in a rush to get you ordered and taken care of. Cashier was friendly but the food handlers were stern and looked miserable… For the cost of the food here I wouldn’t come again.

Cafeteria style where they ask for tips without service. Expensive for what you get. Drinks are watered down. Mac and cheese not good. Mush. Brisket meat was good. Sandwich roll exceptionally dry. Would not suggest to anyone. It’s too bad.

Not sure about ask the hype of this place. Wife and I got two – two meat plates brisket on both, pulled pork and pork ribs. Sides were, mash potatoes w gravy, mac and cheese, green beans and bbq beans. Ate outside, took they’re sauce with us and tried everything. Brisket was dry, ribs were good but I was given end pieces that were dry. Pulled pork was good. Enjoyed their sedona sauce. 3 stars for food and 4 stars for service and environment.

Food: The meat was dry. The bread was not fresh. The mac n cheese side tasted like water and noodles (no cheese flavor). The “loaded baked potato” (which counts as two sides) was just a plain baked potato with a tiny side of raw shredded cheddar cheese and a side of butter. The food was lukewarm.

This place used to be called Lucy Dee’s. Two years ago I rated Lucy Dee’s 5 stars. This place is not Lucy Dee’s. The meat is dry and over spiced and the portions are smaller. And although there are 6 people working, they are beyond slow and lack basic customer service skills.

We each purchased a brisket sandwich without any sides. Pricey for what you get, meat on a bun. No pickle or onion served dry.

So much potential but the sandwiches are plain no pickle no slaw just meat and bun. Even after drenching it in bbq it was still pretty dry the potato salad is God awful raw uncooked potatoes with the texture of an unripe apple. The mac n cheese is pretty good but there’s nothing special about the food and I’d say they put no effort into the menu or it’s ensemble not saying this place is a total dud but they could just throw some love and extra ingredients to please the customers

The smoked meats are good. The smoked spud was undercooked with poor presentation in a undersized takeout container. The sauces and sides are bland. These folks seem to have never heard of jalapenos or Chipotles, let alone habaneros or ghost pepper-based sauces. This is more of a midwestern style barbecue then Southern or Western.
