I have been driving past the State Line for several years and finally had the chance to stop and check it out. There isn’t a lot of room to park a semi truck, but it was worth the effort. The food is great! We ordered the poppers and man. Those were awesome!! I had the State line burger, It was a mess to eat, but damn good. My wife ordered the combo plate (Friday evening is Mexican night) she said the taco was really good, but she asked for chicken enchiladas and got ground beef. Other than that, she was happy with her meal. I am looking forward to the next time I can stop and try some of the other offerings on the menu….

Absolutely awesome food , service and atmosphere! VERY clean, staff is amazing! Restaurant hours are Thursday-Sun 11am -9pm, bar stays open longer. Give them a call to double check!

Great food and warm, friendly atmosphere. Very fun and welcoming inside (which is why I took so many photos). I decided after such a great meal to stay in their RV Park for a bit, located next to the restaurant. Full-hookups on level sites provided a nice break from driving, right between the Welcome to Colorado and Welcome to Utah signs on 491, Dove Creek, CO. Great star-gazing was a plus at my RV site there. Huge sky with no city lights to interfere.

Opening in 2014, Stateline brought to Dove Creek, Colorado a much needed bar scene and restaurant. However, owners, Tim and Shelly Meyer felt there was something missing. It was something that, they did not have, nor did any other restaurant; and that was brunch. Oh sure, breakfast was offered Monday through Friday, maybe on Saturday, definitely not on Sunday; but it was over by 11am. Now between you and me, who does not enjoy a nice brunch on a Sunday, or even breakfast for lunch in general?
