With our sever’s recommendation we tried the potato soup. It was delish. My husband had the mushroom burger & I had the turkey country club. We enjoyed them both. The restaurant was clean & inviting and our server (forgotten her name) was quick, efficient and the only server when we stopped for a late lunch on our way to Hershey.

Friendly family atmosphere. Great food. Very generous helpings. Quality food products used in preparing food. Friendly staff. It was my first visit after many previous attempts. Always showing up at the wrong time. Sunday when they’re closed. Very nice experience. Oh yes! Fantastic soft chocolate chip homemade cookies.

I got a BLT. There were two little straps of bacon. One on each half of the sandwich. It was mainly lettuce. The waitress could’ve been a little friendlier as well. It was okay, nothing spectacular.

Northeast PA Trucks and Trains
Stopped by Montgomery to visit family on the return from vacation from Niagara Falls, ON. Went to eat here. Staff is very friendly, seating is just pick a table, Pepsi products, food portions are big. Don’t leave hungry! Have lots of selections of sides including frozen fries, fresh cut, curly fries, mashed potatoes, and a few other sides. Over all a very good sit down place for a reasonable price!

This restaurant is one of those hidden small town jewels. The food is home made and so good. It’s a little higher in price than some chain restaurants, but you get a lot of food. We have enjoyed this place for over 20 years. Still going there and have no intentions of stopping. You must try one of their home made pies. Oh so good. Addicting.

Overall a good place. Very clean which is nice. Staff was super friendly and helpful. (She was from TN) Only reason for 4outa5 stars is the food. The food is okay. Its not great but certainly not bad. Portions a tad on smaller side. Definitely worth stopping at if in the area. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Good place to eat if you like home style cooking. My grilled porkchop was perfect. They also have fresh baked cookies that you can purchase by the dozen. They are delicious. It is a somewhat cramped dining space with an early dinner crowd.
