A busy place that serves pies by the scores. Menu selection is typical with solid choices of specialty, traditional and local flavor. The dining area is classic 80s era booths, sports on TV and lots of activity. Staff was great. Helpful and courteous even when very busy. Pizza was flavorful, good chew on the crust and loaded with toppings. Salad was fresh and portioned for 2. Not the greatest pizza I’ve ever had but well above national chain, factory pizza.

My first time at Staunton Flying Pizza was great! Clean and friendly…….great food……and the place was understandably busy since it is a Saturday night. I chose to try the greek salad with greek dressing, and 10 peice wings with hot sauce. Not sure if it was included, but they also brought out 2 delicious garlic rolls too. The wings were crispy, and the sauce had a nice tang to it. They had about 5 or 6 different sauces to choose from. The salad was great with plenty to enjoy.

I feel like there wasn’t anything special about this place. The food was passable, the servers were friendly, the prices were a bit too high for the quality of food. I dunno. Seemed like a better hang out spot than a destination for food. It was greasy and salty and generic.

While the service could be better (mainly just understaffed), their pizza and rolls are some of the best in the area and make it 1000% worth it. I go here all the time and haven’t had a bad experience yet!

I am very disappointed with the service they provide. I have ordered delivery from this establishment about 10 different times for the convenience. The last few times they have not given me items I have paid for, but today takes the cake. I ordered more than $50 worth of food like I usually do, and when the food arrived it was all cold and soggy and they completely forgot the cheesecake I ordered. We went back outside to tell the driver about the missing cheesecake and he acted like WE misplaced the cheesecake, but said he would come back with the cheesecake. After almost an hour went by we called the restaurant to see if he was coming, and the lady who answered the phone knew nothing about it. She was very dismissive and even hung up in the middle of our conversation. Bottom line, it was unprofessional and we won’t be ordering here again. There are much better Pizza places in Staunton. Don’t waste your money here.

Forgot my cheesecake, driver said he would get it and come back, 40 minutes later I call and the person taking the orders has no clue about the situation and says they’ll send a kitchen worker out with one. This is the second time they forgot something I paid for. Food was okay but there are far better Italian places in town. I won’t be ordering from them again.

I did online deal that they had for 2 pizzas one cheese and a one topping with free garlic knots for $31.90. I called before putting in the order to see if we could exchange the garlic knots for something else of equal value because we don’t like garlic knots. The lady I spoke with said she would check and put me on hold for a few minutes. She come back and said we could for either garlic bread sticks, cheese sticks or mozzarella sticks. She told me to put a note at the check out section to let them know of the swap exchange.
