Their service skills are horrible! I arrived in the drive thru at 4:36pm. I was was irritated by the long wait, but I had waited so long I decided to see how long it was actually going to take. The line moves, but I noticed the car pulling out of the line. I call in to see if the drive thru was broken. The phone literally rang for 2 mins and 32 seconds, someone picked up, and either put me on hold, or hung up. Either way, I never spoke with anyone. I called again, this time I only let it ring for 30 something seconds, but no one answered. I was going to see how long was it going to be before I was actually served. I decided to get out of the line at 4:58pm. There was 1 car pulled passed the window (maybe waiting on something) and literally 3 cars in the parking lot on the right. No cars in the front or the left side. This is the worst display of fast food customer service EVER!!! I will not waste my time trying to patronize this location!

Consistency and food are great…Good old American greasy-spoon fare. The chili is fantastic esp on cold days spent out shopping and running errands. Service was a bit slow even when it wasn’t crowded. This last time some of our food was cold and the dining room and bathrooms could definitely have been much cleaner.

The only one waitress did a great job considering what she had to deal with with the kitchen staff. There were 10 orders up to be prepared and only one table finally got their food, but not their milk shakes. Those didn’t arrive at all until after they were finished eating and they still did not get them. They ran out of milk we heard! How does a place that is famous for milkshakes run out of milk at lunch time? It took us 25 minuets to get our food. I felt bad for the other 8 tables that we’re still waiting when we left. One disgruntled customer left without eating.

Came in with my husband for a little snack of fries & chicken fingers. We were the only people in there & had to wait over 20min for a very small portion of food. Turns out the cooks were too busy talking in the back & didn’t make it. However, our waitress was super nice & actually gave us free shakes for the trouble which was super surprising. She apologized on their behalf as well. We ended up tipping her $10 on an $8 bill because we were very pleased with how this inconvenience was handled.

There were three cars ahead of us in the drive thru and it took 20 minutes for our turn. Then they messed up our order and gave us the wrong flavor milkshake and a flavor that I hate and I have a nut allergy but thankfully the incorrect milkshake had no nuts. In summary, the service was terrible and the food order was messed up.

Went to visit steak and shake around 2:30 this morning, waited on my food for about 20 minutes and when I received my food it was cold. My husband ordered chicken fingers and I ordered a burger and with prior knowledge from me working there when someone orders chicken fingers in the drive thru those you drop first because they take the longest. His food was piping hot and my food was warm like it’d Been sitting under the warmer. I was looking forward to a piping hot juicy burger. Also, the fries were old and cold. I don’t understand how I waiting 20 minutes and still got cold food. Will never go there again after 12am. Staff also wasn’t friendly and engaging and from the looks of it this location has went down the drain drastically. Very disappointed in visit yesterday.

9PM. Waited in the drive-thru line for 3 minutes without moving so we went inside. Ordered two shakes and fries. Have been waiting for 10 minutes. There are 8 employees here and half of them look confused like it’s their first day. It smells rank in here. Please give me my shakes so I can get out of here.

I usually eat here and it’s fine. My mom brought home takeout and my double steak burger with no cheese was just 2 patties on a bun. Hers was missing onions. She also got a Chile with a hair in it. I never complain or write reviews but that was bad.

Warning! This location likes to accept your money in the drive-thru and then tell you to pull around to wait for your food – and wait, and wait. After 8 minutes, I turned my car off and walked inside to see one employee sitting in a booth talking on cell phone, 2 cooks laughing hysterically and goofing around, and manager that was seemingly proud to give me my money back. No apologies, no explanations. Just a passive aggressive manager who took my shake and tossed it in the trash can and then gave me my money back (wrong amount the first time – he shorted me and I had to remind him of the amount). If you ever go here, do not give the your money without getting your food first. I live less than 5 minutes away but will never return. Thank goodness for capitalism.

i don’t usually write bad reviews because i can usually justify why someone is having a bad night, short staffed, out of product, or whatever the case may be. however when i go into steak and SHAKE I asked for a milkshake and before i could even finish my statement my waitress told me she couldn’t make my shake because she was the only one making the shakes and it would be too much work. – just to make it clear they were fully staffed and i have been to this location when only the young lady taking my order and one other person were working and we got our shakes. i was extremely angry and i will never be returning to this location.
