They are never open , the hours online seem not to match the hours at the actual restaurant . The drive thru menu is dark and not lit when you pull up . And they take forever to make your food . Use to be a great spot now they are terrible .

Had to order by touch screen only. I miss ordering by the table. Food comes out then later you get milk shakes. I don’t blame staff because I feel they were probably short staffed. So order sit down then get called to counter without true customer services yea I’m done with steak and shake now… Why did I even leave a tip on the computer if there is no waitress yea you got me this time never again.

My kids and I have always loved coming here. Was surprised when I went thru the drive thru yesterday and asked about their dining area if it was open, and they said it was. I’m so excited that it is open now, and we will be able to go in and sit down to eat.

Service at the counter was terrible. Got home and the chili I ordered was half full, mostly oil, and no beans. Followed up with online customer service at Steak and Shake website and never received a follow up. Parking lot has been in poor shape for years. To many issues for me. I’m out. Sad, I loved this place.

My fiancé and I went here for his birthday and it took 25 minutes to place the order, one of the ladies were absolutely rude in more ways than one (was rude when we asked if they could break a $100, also got snotty when we asked for to go containers “what do you want me to do, stop what I’m doing and get them for you?”), we couldn’t sit by the window (completely empty inside) because apparently there was a leak in the roof along ALL the window seats, and then mixed up our milkshakes. I ordered birthday cake with extra cherries, whipped cream, and cookie pieces and he got butterfinger with extra whipped cream. They made the milkshakes then put the birthday cake toppings on the butterfinger milkshake and vise versa and we couldn’t do anything about it because we were too full to drink our milkshakes at the restaurant. We were extremely disappointed and disrespected the entire time we were there. We WILL NOT be going back! Terrible service, terrible environment, and terrible snotty workers.

Boy! Do I miss the pre COVID Steak N Shake! We used to love taking the kids here and hanging out. The manager (a white haired gentleman that personally rang everyone out) was courteous and friendly. He went out of his way to ensure a great customer experience. They always had coupons which made it very affordable for a family of 5!

Order on a kiosks and find your own seat. Get your drinks at a drink station. The only interaction with any staff is when they yell your name and set a try out and quickly disappear. It used to be a nice place to go with kids. Now it is basically a grub hub pickup.

I could not drink this eggnog milkshake. It was melted and had at least a tablespoon of nutmeg on top. I got it Sunday afternoon and brought back the receipt on Tuesday afternoon when I was told the policy was returns within 24 hours only. A policy I could not find posted anywhere. Ok, that’s their policy and my policy is not to return to this place and to provide as much feedback to friends and family as possible.

The parking lot was horrible and it took forever to get my food in the drive-thru. Which normally is not an issue for me except I was literally the only person there (inside and out) and the entire time. I could hear the staff yelling in argument. It was not my great. The food was fine though.
