This crew went above and beyond to make sure my last stop in Athens was a great one. On the way out of town to move back to Florida, I stopped at this steak and shake before making the drive. When we told them we were headed to Florida, they made our drinks a large, gave us a large cup of water for our dog, and were just super sweet and attentive. A great last stop in Athens.

The food was good. I ordered through Uber eats, and they failed to deliver, so I went and picked it up. The girl there was rude to delivery drivers. She thought I was one, but it was my order. We ordered two chili pasta meals and a burger. I asked her if there were forks in the bag, and she said yes, I put them in there. I got back to the hotel and nothing in the bag.

I recently visited Steak n Shake and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed! The patty melt was exceptional and definitely exceeded my expectations. The juicy beef patty, melted cheese, and perfectly grilled bread made for the perfect bite every time.

Easy 5 stars. I like the modern feel of the restaurant. Kiosk ordering is an option, easy way to customize your order. Staff was friendly and restaurant appeared clean.

I stopped at this location for dinner as I had a long wait time for my connecting bus to another town. The place was very clean and the bathrooms were immaculate. I never got the name of the lady that took care of me but she was very nice and pleasant and kept asking me if there was anything more she could do for me. I doubt I’ll be back thru there anytime soon but if I am I will be stopping there again. I had a very excellent visit there. Keep it up!!

It was my first time here and I got a bbq bacon cheeseburger with fries and a cookie dough milkshake. It was AMAZING. The customer service was nice, quick, and attentive. Every time I see one while traveling, I might have to stop through!

Our table hadn’t been cleaned since the last users left. There were wet glass rings on the table & a used napkin. When the food was brought out, the young man who served us apologized multiple times. Not enough staff? Food was hot. My garlic burger was ok, but not as good as other S & S locations. Bun was VERY GREASY, got all over my hands. Onion rings were very good, made from real onion slices, not minced (Thanks for that!). I had to go back up front & ask for my bottled water. I’ve eaten @ this location before. Just doesn’t stand up to the other locations I’ve visited (like in Indiana; Cincinnati; Huntington Mall area). Is COVID to blame? In Athens, I’m afraid I’d have to recommend eating somewhere else.
