We had a group of 20 people come in and the service was very bad. Granted, we didn’t expect a group of twenty (with separate orders) to be able to eat quickly, but we were there for about an hour waiting for our last to-go bag to come. Some people in our group sat down and ate rather than ordering to go, and even though they ordered after the to-go people, they received and ate their food before the first to-go order came.

We travelled from Texas 13 hours at Thanksgiving, we always order baked beans, they were out! Fast forward, just sat down tried after yet another 13 hour drive and again no baked beans, no birthday cake shakes and no cookies n cream shakes! Needs new Management, this is an on going problem apparently after reading other reviews! Get it together this is unacceptable!! If someone in charge can’t even order right what else are they screwing up!

Wow… normally I love Steak n Shake. Tonight was the worst service ever. Seated at 7:20 pm.. the sun was directly in our face, the table was dirty, we did not recieve silverware or napkins with our coffee, and no saucer either. No placemats.. we did not even recieve napkins and silverware with our food…

The service and food was good but it smelled like river water from the December 2015 flood. It needs to be torn down and rebuilt. The smell in the building is very noticeable. I’m sure Taco Bells across the street is the same way.

Who is the manager at this place? Replace them immediately. The employees are obviously not set up for success if we had to wait 15 mins along with 4 other families just to be GREETED. No. We left. Never again.

My chilli cheese hot dog had no flavor, the toppings were sparse and didnt cover the entire dog. My fries were cold and few as well. The waitress called everyone ‘honey’ or ‘babe’. Didn’t give you time to answer her or ask for anything. Husbands pepper vinegar didn’t have a dispensing top…twice! Will never do business here again.

You will wait 40 minutes in the drive thru, you will then get no apology and an order that’s not even yours, and when you finally receive your food it’ll be room temperature and still incorrect. The people who work here are brain dead

Manager was rude. Charged me for the wrong thing, then told me she had messed up but wasn’t going to give me the money back. Slammed the window shut and said “have a good day” with a straight face, you could tell she was being snotty, but fallowing the guidelines that they make the workers say.
