I have always had a good experience eating at Steak ‘n Shake. However, I am very disappointed in Steak ‘n Shake on Pinnacle. I ordered a #1, #3 and a large order of onion rings. I received my order and then realized that the onion rings were not in the bag. No biggie. I went inside and they gave me a hot order of onions rings. Which was great. Then, when we got home my daughter opened her #3 meal which is supposed to be a Fresco Melt. She got slop on slop. I’ve attached a picture of what she received. 2 pieces of bread saturated in sauce, not toasted, slopped together, smooshed meat, and crusty cheese! Completely disgusting! And, no, I didn’t got back to the store for another. At this point we were both sick to our stomachs. Get it together Steak ‘n Shake!

First of all the food was fine, the service however was not. Our server seated us a party of 3, 2 of us were eating in the restaraunt the third person was getting take out. This was clearly communicated to our server, who brought all of the take out order with the eat in order, including the milk shake that melted because it was the first thing to hit the table. Heads up Steak n Shake! A To Go order should be brought out after a moderate interval. Then when our friend asked for a fresh shake because that one was sad looking, she became flustered and confused insisting she would have to ask a manager to “come see about it”. That manager never materialized, the server never came back, we had to track down our bill. She just abandoned us. What kind of service is that? It should be noted the restaurant was mostly empty since it was after 2pm.

This location is in desperate need of a overhaul. It’s dirty, tables and benchs are broken and torn. The food was not made correctly and we didn’t get all of our sides. The waitress even asked if we had all the sides I said no she said okay and never came back. The ketchup was a mixture of water and ketchup to obviously say on money. It’s time for The management to do a remodel and get all new staff. This is a disgrace to this franchise.

I ask for ketchup packets and this is what I get. Everything is so cold and hard. I am NEVER EVER COMING BACK . I PAID FOR RANCH AND ONLY GOT LESS THAN HALF A CONTAINER. Burger looks like it was thrown on the ground. Absolutely disgusted.

Rude staff that rushed us. It was my husband’s 1st time at a steak and shake and we were going over the menu. They switched our sweet server for a manager that was super rude. She said and I quote, “Our menu isn’t that big honey”. We hadn’t been in there more than 5 minutes. I was really craving the cheese fries and I don’t even want to go through drive through because they were so rude. Who knows if they’d mess with the food. I’m so sad. This is the only steak and shake I’ve seen in Louisiana. Also it was filthy. Visibly dirty. Inside and outside. Looks shut down and probably should be sadly.
