There food is really amazing. It’s sad that more people don’t actually know about this place because it is located on The U of A property. There steak burgers are made fresh and are out of this world delicious. If you are sensitive to grease you may not want to order their burger but they also have delicious French fries, milk shakes and chicken. You can order from here from Grubhub, Uber eats and door dash if you don’t want to go eat in a giant cafeteria setting.

spent 15 minutes zig-zagging through the university trying to find where the hell this place was, i assumed i was directly above/below it and went through the multiple floors until an employee told me it’s been closed down for months. why is this still on google maps if it doesnt exist anymore?

Located in the student union, this location is hard to get to for a non-student. We were excited to try the only remaining location in Arizona, but this one did not live up to the hype. They had a limited menu lacking many of the options that give this chain life. The food was okay but there was slow service for fast food.

It’s closed and I was looking forward to going here so bad. It’s my favorite restaurant and I’m from Ohio so when I seen online that there was one in Tucson i was excited until I went to the location and it was no longer open….

They have pretty good food that isn’t expensive. Too bad Tucson can’t have a place like this off campus. If you like to pay and park then come and get some of these yummy nom noms!

3 and a half stars? really?! This place is great for what it is…good fast food burger and fries. Also hot dog and chicken tenders options. Fries are addicting…brain wanted a 2nd order but stomach thanked me for sticking to 1 so it wasnt over-stuffed 😉 Burger was delicious, lil greasy but in a good way if that makes any sense ie didnt leave me with a “heavy” feeling. Great price too

The food is actually pretty decent, but just about everything else about this place could improve. I don’t think I’ve been here once and my order has been gotten right. I always am missing something (no spoon for chili, no napkins,). One time I even paid for fries but didn’t get them. Service is pretty slow all the workers seem to just hang out and work very nonchalantly. I went 10 mins before closing to get a shake but the cashier and some other worker claimed they were out of shakes. The place is called steak n SHAKE… It was quite clear later on that they had already turned the machine off and just didn’t want to do it. Very poor service overall. I think this steak n shake is like this in particular because it’s on a college campus and they think that the kids just dont care. You definitely do not get what you pay for here, just save yourself the bad experience and go to Chik fil A or IQ fresh right across the building.

Really solid food, but the staff, and specificly the male manager who tend to works later in the day have a almost hostile atmosphere, especially if you order is an innconvenice due to being diffrent from the norm, or if you do pickup from grub hub.

This place is the worst ever. Same with everything else in the union. Wanted an Oreo shake and they said they ran out of vanilla. I should’ve walked away right there. Opted for a chocolate m and m shake. Didn’t look like there was any m and ms in the shake but I felt something hard at the bottom assuming they probably didn’t mix it well. Literally chunks of ice on the bottom. No m and ms. Will never return

I love this place. I’m from Illinois where they are all over the place. I’ve lived out here for over 2 years and this was the 1st time IV been here and I will most definitely being going back. After walking all over the place I finally found it. When I got there they weren’t open. Imagine how disappointed I was not to mention my twins. I asked the manager what time they opened and he told me 10am. I was there at 8:45am. I was going to wait around or come back, but I didn’t have to. The manager offered to take our order. So we placed our order and waited and the wait was worth it. The food tasted just like I remember. I really appreciate what the manager did for us. It goes to show that good people do still exist. Now that I know where it is I will take the whole family here real soon.
