Great prices, huge portions, fantastic service and ambiance! The brisket was juicy and some of the most tender I’ve ever had, the ribs were perfectly done, and the fries and mac and cheese were some of the best around. This place has poutine too, some of the best I’ve had this side of the Canadian border! I’m certain the dessert is just as delicious as everything else, but they fed us so well we ran out of room! 6/5 stars!

Delicious BBQ at this local restaurant. We are new to the area and were so excited to find this place. Sabrina was an amazing server, so quick with service and so congenial. The place wasn’t crowded on a Wednesday night, and she spent a few minutes talking to us. This is local hospitality that we very much appreciated as we’d just moved here. I’d read reviews of this restaurant and the food matched up to them. The chicken was moist and flavorful. We loved the tangy, red and spicy BBQ sauce. My husband really liked the brisket. The fries were to die for. So crispy and light. He loved the coleslaw, which is specially made and has a bit of pineapple in it! We went back a second time and got their special of the smoked salmon and it was amazing. Also, the half rack of ribs that my husband got was huge and he said very moist and tender. The meals and drinks were very affordable. A must go to!

I’ve been waiting to leave a review, but after eating here several times in the last six months or so, I can confirm that the food has improved in freshness (or at least warmth), seemingly. I most recently tried the ribs, and bear in mind those are spare ribs, which is not disclaimed on menu. Most meats are hickory and/or mesquite smoked so they’re with a pretty nice smokiness, TX style. Mac and cheese is just good, wouldn’t say any other sides are worth writing home about, but there are a couple I haven’t tried.

We were visiting Newberry and Steelhorse was recommended by someone that has spent time in this area. Great recommendation. The ribs were very tender. The fries were really good as well.

Smells are great!! Listed ½ chicken, brisket, ribs and pulled pork as entrees. Party of 6, Waited almost 15 minutes to be seated (only ones waiting). Waited another 8-10 minutes for someone to take our drink order, so we ordered 3 appetizers when we ordered drinks. After another 8-10 minutes, waitress came back and said “yall ready to order?” Well, we’d kinda like our drinks and appetizers first and she said “oh, yeah, well let me go ahead and get your order”. We thought, OK. So we went to order. She goes ” oh, didnt i tell you….NO CHICKEN, OUT OF BRISKET, we might halve a ½ RACK OF RIBS, but I’ll have to check……”

Tried to go here for dinner. The restaruant had a decent crowd, but still had quite a few open and cleaned tables. We were behind one other couple. The other couple left without getting seated. We waited a few minutes to be seated with staff walking by and not making eye contact. No one greated us or offered to help. After a bit, I asked a waitress about getting seated and she about bit my head off. We immediately left and will not be back. We have been here a few times before, and it was mediocre. We are local and will avoid this place. You should also.

This place was bomb! 10 out of 10 food, experience, and and over all just awesome atmosphere. Sabrina was our waitress and she was so nice and funny, very helpful for new people. I got the BBQ nachos and my sister got a phili, it was so good, we left full and happy. Will return for sure.

The brisket was excellent and the cheese curds too! Service was quick and the food came out hot. They were fairly slow but I’m glad they opened on Wednesdays again so I had the chance to give them a try. Definitely worth the stop if your passing through the area.
