My sister and I went there for dinner and to hear the entertainment for the evening, Ronnie Clinton from North Carolina. We both had the Chicken Piccata. It was excellent with lots of lemony sauce and capers. The restaurant was busy but the service was very good. Our server, Karli, was pleasant and attentive. The decor and atmosphere was current and welcoming.

A favorite restaurant of mine, the owner is SO incredibly sweet and from Italy, and she helped create a meal that was free from my food allergens! The mussels sautéed with tomatoes were my absolute favorite dish I’ve ever had! And the salmon was prepared perfectly for me! I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant! We usually get take-out for our family for special occasions. The last time we ordered we got Fettuccini Alfredo with chicken, Mozzarella Chicken, Salmon, Gnocci Alla Vodka and a large salad for us to share. All the food was delicious, as always! My husband and I also dine in about once every other month. We always have a very good meal and the service is always great. The only disappointment we have is that the meals do not come with a salad any longer but the prices remained the same. So, when you add the salad that drives up the price even more. I would definitely recommend trying Stella Mia out for yourself. We’ve always had a great experience!

Highly recommend this restaurant. Don’t let the outside fool you, it’s in the back of a little plaza and doesn’t have much curb appeal, that is the only negative. The food is fantastic, the waitress told us the sauces are made by the plate. The owner is either working on the line or the place is closed…and it shows. This place has one of the best chicken piccata dishes I’ve ever had, and phenomenal wedding soup. As well as generous portions. The inside is nice, and you will not regret your dinner here!

To start, the customer service by phone was awful. They could not answer basic questions I was asking. I was completely stunned when I put order in for the tortellini seafood pasta and I was told they no longer do it with Tortellini. So therefore I had to pick other pasta that really does not go with this kind of dish.

I made reservations for my friend’s birthday on June 29. When we arrived there were 3 tables with customers. After we were seated a young man brought a basket of 4 very thin slices of bread with 2 pats of butter. We waited for about 20 min to order. We called the young man back to get us more bread and his response was “what’s up “, really? We ordered Seafood Putanesca and Pasta Di Mare. I very specifically told the server “No olives” and what do I see in my dish? Olives! I also see mussels that aren’t opened in my dish! The seafood was frozen and all over cooked. It wasn’t edible! My friend’s dish was better, but lacked any lobster and had very little shrimp. After another 30 min passed the server finally came back and asked how our meal was. I told her it is terrible. She just stood silent, no apology or didn’t ask if she could offer me something else. She just said I’ll take that away. She came back 10 min later and said my meal was taken off the check. Still no apology! What a horrible experience. I will never return there again.
