Came here because it seemed like an interesting local coffee shop. Got the Stellar Nitreaux, a drip coffee, and beignets. Both coffee and beignets were very good. Nice that you don’t have to go to New Orleans to get good beignets! Atmosphere has a fun sci-fi motif. Staffers were welcoming and friendly. There was free street parking available in front of the shop. Fine place to stop for morning coffee.

Quick cup of coffee at this kickin little spot downtown. 7am and they had some blues rippin on the stereo, friendly staff and lots of regulars. I’m new to town and this will definitely be a regular spot to get my day going.

Hello from Texas! Dropped in on a drive thru Louisiana and hope to visit again soon. Best food menu I’ve ever seen at a coffee shop. My drink was fantastic too. Loved the vibe,staff was sweet and helpful. Get the Intercristo! I’ve had them at Katz and this one blows theirs out of the water.

We visited on 08/14 for morning coffee and beignets after a night at the Casino. Wonderful coffee, fresh beignets and the atmosphere was awesome. Great family owned spot! Bonus points for being dog friendly.

Trippin’ with the Southers
We stopped in for a coffee before setting off on the Creole Nature Trail. The King Cake latte (I think it was called) was delicious sweetness and adorably decorated with sprinkles. The strawberry and cream frappe was a delicious sweet treat, also.

Not too shabby. Was told they had a dark roast and a medium roast drip coffee so I naturally assumed they over roast their beans, but after trying the medium sumatra was pleasantly suprised at receiving a true medium (city, full city). Would have preferred a different origin maybe Ethiopian or a good fruity Colombia medium roast? But to each their own. Barista was unable to tell me exactly what their espresso blend was other than just describing what a blend is to me and why it’s tastier than a single origin on espresso, this was fine and she was nice could just use a little more knowledge on the beans they use.
