The atmosphere in the is restaurant was nice and relaxing. The waiter at the bar was excellent. His customer service was top notch. I tired the penne alla vodka and it tasted wonderful. The noodles was very soft and the sauce had a lot of flavor. The bread that comes with the meal was fresh and hot. The mussels was excellent too. I definitely would recommend this restaurant to friends and family. This is one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve ever been too.

My husband and I were in town visiting family, and it was recommended to visit Stephano’s for some good Italian food! What a gem of a restaurant! From the time we entered until the time we left, the service was impeccable and very attentive. The food was made fresh and was delightful to the palette. The stuffed Sole was seasoned just right and cooked to a perfect temperature, and the Chicken Parmigiano, my husband, said was very tasty. Portions were large, and we ended up taking half of our meals home! We will be back when in the area again!

The food and wine is excellent and abundant at very reasonable prices. What knocks off some serious stars is the atmosphere. This is not the kind of place to go if you want to have a nice quiet dinner with someone. This is the site of the old Friendly’s on Main Street in Fishkill and the atmosphere is, sadly, about the same. Very loud and very plain. There are no booths, only tables with wood floors that amplify the noise even worse. The decor inside is nothing special. If they spiffed up this place this would be a solid 5 star.

The food is good and fresh and also big portions. But that’s the only thing good. Atmosphere no, too loud and dark curtains on all windows u you can’t tell is it day or night. And for the service, we waited so long for any of our courses.

Quite good. The portions are generous and hold up as great left overs, as you’d have to be a psycho or competitive eater to polish off one of these excellent meals in a single sitting. So many people rave about this place but in my opinion the food is mediocre at best. It is not cooked to order. I’m sure it’s prepared early in the day or even the day before. The Veal is like shoe leather swimming in way too much sauce, not tender at all.Pasta is covered in such thick tomato sauce that it looks like it came out of a jar. So unappealing! Not worth wasting calories on it! The only thing they deliver on is the amount of food they plate. That’s why you see people leaving w plastic bags of leftovers! Instead of plating so much food spend time preparing a smaller, freshly prepared meal. Will not be returning! Oh… forgot.. way too loud!!!
