We enjoyed our stop at Sterling Pig Brewery. After trying several of their delicious beers I was so satisfied I decided to take some home. The food here was also very good. I had the fish and chips and was satisfied. We also had some pizza which they cooked in their awesome wood fired oven inside. The decor is beautiful and the atmosphere is pleasant whether you are visiting for dinner or just some quick drinks. I would definitely consider coming back again.

For the first time in my life, I had to walk out of a restaurant. We waited 30 minutes without seeing our server before I went to the host to remind them we were sitting there. I asked for a couple waters at the same time. Another 20 minutes later, still no server and the host couldn’t be bothered to bring us our water either. It wasn’t even busy. Last time we were there, we had the same problem. This place needs new management or some better training. The food is good (or at least it used to be, couldn’t say this time since we left) and so is the beer. And, it should be a nice place to sit outside and eat, but I won’t be going back again until they get it together.

Fantastic beer and staff. Their BBQ has always been great, but with the new menu, they added more non BBQ options which is good for vegetarians too. Had the Bianca Pizza and it was amazing! Definitely will be coming back more often!

If you’re in or near Media and you like pizza or BBQ, you need to stop in at the Sterling Pig. The place had a bit of a rustic atmosphere with a friendly staff. Family friendly restaurant upstairs and a sports bar below. We have been here several times. The food is generally excellent, although we have had BBQ a bit below their normal standard once or twice. It’s like the BBQ is normally a 10, but on the off days it was an 8. Definitely not going to stop me from going. I guess I’m just spoiled by their “normal”. Beer selection is outstanding and changes regularly. I’ve never had anything there that I didn’t like. All in all… Sterling Pig is a ‘must visit’.

We ate there one Saturday night. The service was good and friendly, but our meal was inedible. We ordered brisket platters, and they were both pure fat. We picked off what we could, but there wasn’t much salvageable. We ended up leaving the majority of it on our plates. It looked as if we didn’t even take a bite. I politely told our server, and she agreed and apologized. I emailed the restaurant about it and received an auto-response saying that they would get back to me as soon as they could. That was nearly 3 weeks ago and still nothing. I realize these things sometimes happen, but I just wish it was handled differently.
