Served us expired beer – December 19,2022, Next round, I asked for a beer that wasn’t expired. I was given a beer with expiration of Feb 13, 2023. Today is March 3, 2023. Had to wait for a table, not a problem. Food came in a timely manner. Once served, I was never asked if we needed anything else. Once finished, we waited 30 minutes before she came over and asked if we wanted a box and gave us our bill. Disappointed

Wanted to try out their food but they’re only open Fridays and Saturdays; what’s the point? Not a very good business model a bar only open 2 days a week lol.

Steak was way overdone but didn’t want to waste food so did not send it back. Ordered med-rare and mom ordered med both were basically well done. Was tender but over cooked. Waitress was great. Definitely not worth $80 for 2 people to eat. We were the only 2 dining as it was early. Appetizer …duck a little too done also…but like I said I don’t waste food.

Steve’s is the best. My favorite fish fry, no-doubt the best curds, homemade baked beans and coleslaw, and fantastic potato salad. So glad it’s so close to home!

The prime rib was perfect. The sides and service was great as well. I want to try the Friday fish fry soon.

My wife and I were visiting some family, and they decided to eat dinner here. The drinks were nice and strong, do yourself a favor and try and old fashioned. The food came out rather quick and was adequate. There were a few mistakes but that waitstaff was prompt in rectifying the situation.

Steve’s Bar & Grill is one of the most delicious wonderful and fun experiences in in my opinion fine dining can be. On Friday Evening the wife and I enjoyed cocktails and wonderful small talk with a couple that were at Steve’s to dine and introduced themselves to us, it was great! As well as the service also! After a couple of drinks we were seated, the wife had baked cod she said was the best she ever had, I had the walleye and it was nothing short of FANTASTIC!!! Every bite was better then the last it was incredibly delicious as was Steve’s homemade bean dish is to die for! All in all we can’t wait to go again only this time on a Saturday we have heard the prime rib is out of this world!

The prime rib was awesome, the waitressing not so much. She did not want to keep track of our drinks on the bill, she preferred we just go to the bar and pay for them. Otherwise, my review would have been 5 stars. My wife had the scallops and she said they were done perfect. We would still go back again. The food was that good.

While I live less than 2 miles away this was my first trip for carryout at Steve’s Bar. There is plenty of parking and a pretty large bar area as well as tables for groups. Everything was very clean and organized.

This place has amazing food but did you know that they sponsor coyote killing contests? These are contests are for who can kill the most, the biggest and the smallest for prizes. Bobcats and fox are also taken. We ate there a few times until one day we pulled up and one truck was throwing dead frozen coyotes into the back of a pick up truck. We left and never returned since. If you respect wildlife and believe that all things have a role and place on this planet I would encourage you to boycott this place also.
