Made a stop at Steve’s Family Restaurant. The staff was very friendly and I really enjoyed the day’s special an $8.99 Spanish Omelet. It was the way I like an omelet – served hot and loaded with a tangy thick & chunky sauce. The home fries were beautiful; although, I wish they were served piping hot. Overall, a solid breakfast for a good price. Btw, I think the Old Brooklyn neighborhood is the breakfast diner capital of NEO.

Steve’s is a nice neighborhood spot. Our breakfast was tasty and served quickly by the awesome staff. If I had to complain about anything, it would be that there was too much food on my plate. Great atmosphere, quick service, and good prices. We will definitely be back.

Great neighborhood breakfast and lunch spot! Solid menu, served by the best people of Old Brooklyn. You will always feel welcomed by the staff and Steve himself 🙂 Prices are FANTASTIC, and they have very good breakfast combos that always satisfy. Very highly recommend! Try their omelettes. The portions are generous and the company is great, even when you come to dine alone.

Perfect day to try out a new breakfast place since I have time to kill after dropping my son off at school 3 hours prior to his Sectional wrestling tournament in Independence. Wandered into a neighborhood that I have little familiarity with because Yelp directed me to Steve’s Family Diner.
