Hot Dogs are good… Ice Cream is good… Root Beer is average… Ordered a hamburger, it looked like it was cooked, but was raw inside. Other reviews are correct… This place is run by kids and they close whenever they feel like it… weather or posted hours be damned.

Expensive but mediocre. I had a foot long hot dog and root beer. The soda was great, but the hot dog was pretty lame. It wasn’t hot, tasted unimpressive, and the bun was just a big tasteless roll. Also, the staff weren’t very nice. I asked for the soda to be light ice, and then they didn’t fill it all the way. (They left an inch of space on the top.). They filled it after I pointed it out to them, but that cheapness on an overpriced soda left me disappointed. I regret coming here. Would not recommend.

Extremely disappointing for so many reasons. First, and probably most importantly, it is absolutely filthy. I was there during closing tonight and the countertops were sticky to the touch and covered in ketchup and old ice cream drips. I watched one of the young employees “clean” the tabletops by wiping the crumbs onto the floor with her hands. Secondly, they close whenever they feel like it. They claim that it is due to inclement weather, but I’ve gone when the sun was shining and read a handwritten sign that said “closed due to weather”. This is what you get when you leave kids to run an establishment. Thirdly, their hours are hideous. I never knew of an ice cream place that closes at 8pm in the middle of summer on a beautiful day. Tonight, they got my order wrong – twice. 2 sundaes ordered with vanilla ice cream….when we got them, they were both made with chocolate. No biggie – she remade them – I took a peek and we left to go eat them at home. When I got home, mine was made with only one of the two toppings I requested and the butterfinger was stale. I will never go back there and I’ll be shocked if they don’t get shut down before the end of the summer. And for the record, this should be zero stars, but it wouldn’t let me post without giving one.

Great food for a decent price. Chocolate milk shake was more like chocolate milk but it was still good. If you want a root beer float, or some comfort food, try this over the standard McDonald’s it Burger King.

It’s so cute here. The food is yummy. It’s great for kids. You can eat outside. Super quick service. Lightening fast meal prep. Good tunes piped on speakers outside. A great place!

Like their hotdogs with meat sauce. Note: The stated closing hours are 9 pm, but zi get the feeling that they close whenever they feel like it. Recently I have driven there on 3 occassions between 7:30 and 8:40 to find them closed. A friend arrived around 8 pm to find the door open, but when he tried to order was told they were closing and not taking any orders. I believe you must have stated hours, keep them and be there for your customers. Do not waste their time, energy and gas money.

It’s at a great location right near Round Valley Lake, and a nice view of the highway with a “country” type of atmosphere. I wouldngive 5 stars but some of the other Stewarts in NJ have better selections of unique meals.
