This is a cute restaurant. There decor was adorable I loved the couches that made up some of the seating. Came here for restaurant week but the regular menu had better variety so myself and my 2 friends each ended up just ordered from the main menu. For Appetizers we ordered deviled eggs, chicken chili and biscuits. All three were amazing. Flavorful and fresh…the whipped chicken drippings that came with the biscuits put it over the top. For entrees we ordered the honey Creole salmon, sweet potato dumplings and the chicken fried steak. The Creole salmon tasted fresh and was cooked to perfection. Not sure what they call a Creole rub but it was not what was expected. The accompanying crayfish risotto was very rich and creamy. Sweet potato dumpling were surprisingly good along with the creamy mushroom sauce. Didn’t need the enormous “pearl” onions but they didn’t take away from the amazing dish. The finale was the strawberry shortcake; this came with a creamy lemon sauce schmeerd next to the pound cake topped with sliced strawberries. Very tasty and not overly sweet. The only bad thing for us were the drinks. None of them were good. My friend ordered an espresso martini, the cocktail came out and the cup looked half full. She asked the woman for a new one and looked great when it came out but tested like coffee water. I ordered 2 drinks an old fashioned and a cosmo both were meh. My other friend like her drink. My final thoughts are they need to sell a 6 pack of biscuit with the whipped chicken drippings.

We had two seats at the bar and we got there near 5pm at opening and the bar was nearly full. Bartender was nice. They had basil Hayden toast bourbon, he made a great old fashioned. The apps were really nice. We had the deviled eggs and cheese board. For entrees, I had the burrata salad, it was so delicious. My date had the gnocchi. Def worth trying.

Excellent food with attractive presentation. Interesting menu with a nice range of options. My salmon salad was great with a fresh cut of fish and my daughter’s turkey mac & cheese looked appetizing, as well. We tried a couple of the cocktails from the menu, and all were very good. They weren’t very busy and perhaps that was because the host and table service were not spot on? Would definitely go back, if a friend invited me.

Stillwater wowed me with its dinner menu and outstanding service. I had the pulled pork sandwich on brioche sliced toast. Very filling and flavorful. Then the deviled eggs had fresh and fluffy filling with grains of sea salt. The warm and freshly prepared ricotta donuts with dark chocolate sauce were the best I ever had. My picture shows 4, but there were 5 or 6, and they were all sizeable. Servers were on point and super attentive and filled my ice tea and water glasses.
