We had a wonderful dinner with friends. Appetizers were terrific- squid and meatballs. Entrees were perfect- sea bass and whiskey ribeye steak. Desert was delicious- strawberry cake. A few old fashions did not disappoint! What a great locally owned restaurant! Will be back…

I came here for work Christmas dinner party. They had a private room and we were party of about 20 people. Servers were professional, knowledgeable with their menu items, and very nice and kind throughout the dinner. I really appreciated their service! Food was good, especially the mac & cheese. To be honest, their side dishes and appetizers were better than the main entire. I wish their entire dish was more.. presentable. It wasn’t cute to my taste and even looked empty. Other than that, loved dining here! Great place to visit and try.

The food was amazing. My wife had salmon, risotto and the bread pudding….. she loved it. I had the Cesar salad, flatbread and the strawberry cake, it was wonderful. The gentleman that took my order was named Greg, on the phone and in person he is extremely nice and his attention to detail is excellent. Salute.

If you’re looking for a classy yet down-to-earth atmosphere with phenomenal food and don’t want to drive to Dallas or Fort Worth for a comparable experience, Stone House it where it’s at. The menu changes seasonally, so the offerings never get stale. The staff is exceptionally courteous and hospitable. It’s equally suited for an easy date night or a more significant (retirement, graduation, engagement, etc) dinner. Stone House is easily one of our favorites.

Hidden gem. Excellent service from the moment you walk through the day until you leave (even after closing). Great selection of bourbon and great wine list – from Austin Hope to Caymus (and much more). Steak was perfect and the truffle mac and cheese was some of the best I’ve ever had. I would absolutely recommend Stone House for dinner, date night, and/or a gathering of family and friends.

The best reason to go to Colleyville. This unassuming little house holds some of the best food you’ll eat in this quiet suburb. It definitely gets packed (and noisy), but it’s worth it. The bar has plenty of great options to help pass time if you’re waiting for a table (or just want a few drinks). While the Stone Fashioned is a decent take on the Old Fashioned, it’s their Boulevard with pineapple-infused alcohol that really hits the spot…just be careful, as these things are DANGEROUS for the less seasoned drinker.

Wanted to try a new place near home and found Stone House. First impression, it was very crowded and very loud for a Tuesday. We struggled to have a conversation at our table over the speaker in the ceiling behind our table. Other than that it was a good experience. The staff was friendly. We made a reservation so only had to wait a couple minutes for our table. We figured it was a night out and did the whole shebang. Drinks were very tasty. We had the blue crab empanada appetizer which was a little doughy. The entrees were super yummy. Definitely recommend the porkchop. And for dessert we had the most lemony lemon cake. 3 of us shared it and couldn’t finish it. Very tasty for someone who craves a tart taste

This place is amazing! I am not sure how I have never heard of it. We started our dinner with warm bacon cheddar biscuits with whipped honey butter, gulf crab cakes and blue crab empanadas. The warm bacon cheddar biscuits disappeared off the table quickly. For my meal I chose the stuffed salmon and mashed potatoes. The salmon was cooked perfectly. My mom had the shrimp and grits which she said was the best she never had. I highly recommend you try the Parmesan cream spinach, we begged the chef for the recipe. Yes, it was that good. Table had desserts including bread pudding and chestnut pie. All were perfect. The service was exceptionally good. The restaurant was very crowded while we were there, so it was a little louder in there than what I would of liked. All in all was an excellent experience. We will definitely be back!

So, first of all, this being the level of restaurant this place is, my wife and I made reservations a week in advance. Upon arrival we, without being asked, proceeded to be placed in the hottest seat furthest from the wall unit air conditioners out on the patio. This is after our hostess commented on our fancy attire and was chatting about what we were celebrating. After that, our waiter was, for the most part, rather friendly, right up until the end of the meal where he stuffed our leftover slice of strawberry cake upsidedown in the go box and kind-of tossed it on the table. The non-requested patio seating we justified as worthy of a star removal. As for the second lost star, our entrees were $60 and $50 respectively. We came in with that expectation, the cost would’ve been fine except for the fact that the entrees themselves just weren’t very good. My steak was admittedly good, but, again, for the price it was set at, that compares to the filet Morton’s Steakhouse, which outshines it by an order of magnitude in literally every way. My wife’s lamb chops, on the other hand were served in a range from medium to very well done, and they were also tiny. They came out half the size of a regular rack of lamb. Otherwise, the meatball appetizer was very good, the truffle Mac and cheese was also notably tasty, and the bread pudding was worthy of the prestige, albeit it could’ve used a brandy or whisky sauce just to tip it over the edge. So, in summary, I cannot justify a recommendation for The Stone House. It is simply not worth the cost. For the same price, there are better options available.

Great staff and food is good too. The ambiance lacks a little, at least inside but overall we had a nice experience.Next time we will try the patio. Great to see a restaurant like this in Colleyville!
