This was my first time trying Stone Mill Cafe. I walked in and was greeted warmly by the staff, who did not rush me as I looked over the menu. It was lunchtime and very busy, and the staff seemed to be efficient and very helpful to all of the customers. I ordered the French Dip. The atmosphere is very warm, with plenty of space between tables for comfort. In the lobby area there is a rack of fresh breads and cookies, as well as the freezer displaying the gelato. It didn’t take long to get my food, which was nicely wrapped up and freshly made. I thought the beef was tender and the au jus delicious, however the bread almost had a Hawaiin bread sweetness to it, and the overall sandwich was small for the price. However, it did taste pretty good and was prepared well. I will definitely go back, however I would probably try a different sandwich or one of the soups next time.

Nice and clean. My wife likes to support local over main chain. Her meal was delicious (Skillet and side order of biscuits and gravy) I had a burrito but not really what I wanted. They didn’t have what I wanted and that was the Cinnamon Clusters. I would not put that on the menu if it’s an item you may or may not have. The atmosphere was nice. We did wait a pretty long time for food to come out and the wife said “do you think they forgot about us.” But the food was nice and hot when it did come out. I would definitely give it a try. Where from out of state and would return to this cafe again if we are ever back.

Had the signature skillet with a side of biscuits and gravy and my boyfriend had the signature breakfast sandwich. Skillet was awesome— flavor was great, ingredients tasted high quality and my eggs were cooked perfect! My boyfriend loved his sandwich and I tried a bit and enjoyed it, as well. Some of the best breakfast in the area and pricing was extremely affordable $20 all together for two of us. I highly recommend it!!

Service was super fast. The person that took my order talked very fast but I liked the pace. I ordered the signature breakfast sandwich with bacon and marble rye bread. Food came out quickly since it was not busy. The sandwich was delicious! Equal amount of egg, cheese, and bacon in every bite. I never had marble rye bread before and I really liked the way it tasted. I will come back again to try their lunch menu.

Order was incorrect. Potatoes were just cooked cubes of potatoes. No seasoning. No onions. Gravy was bland. Bread was soggy. Fountain drink stand advertised flavor shots but none were to be had AND they were out of every soda but Pepsi, diet Pepsi, and Dr pepper.

If you love specialty home made breads for your sandwiches this is the place! I just had an amazing chicken salad on a cranberry pecan bread that was so light fluffy and delicious! I can’t wait to try their other salads and soups. Nice Cafe atmosphere plus really nice outdoor seating like Europe! You order at the front counter ( same place they have their gelato case!) They give you a number to put on your table then they serve it to your table. Large tables for large business lunch groups.

Easy going place to have an excellent lunch- food is comforting. They stick to the point- fresh bread and baked goods, sandwiches and soup- all quality made- rather than mass produced. You can even find some participating Walmart with their bread.
