For being a small town pizza place, it sure is good. It’s much better than Joe’s before they did that weird thing. If you’re a local, you know, if you’re from out of town, get a local to tell you. Flavor is spot on. Pricing may be a little on the high end, but compared to other alternatives in town, I’d say it’s fairly decent. Over all staff are polite and very friendly. Definitely recommend eating here.

I’ve never had another deep dish pizza that could compare to Stone Bakers. The cheese pull is insane! Their homemade sauce is worth getting extra of as well as a couple side cups to dip your crust in. It’s worth every penny and the staff is so friendly. The atmosphere is comfy and extremely clean. Highly recommend.

We dont live in Marengo..but we’ll definitely make the drive to eat here again! Hubby ordered Phillysteak and cheese with an order of fried mushrooms..delicious! After reading reviews about their Italian beef with the au juice..I had to order it..oh my goodness..best beef I’ve had in a long time.. and I agree with the other reviewer..you could just sip the au juice! Even the French fries were great. Someone ordered a salad.. it looked amazing! Service was great and friendly! Please stop by here and keep this place goin..

We picked up a pizza tonight and it was delicious! The sausage had a fennel-rich flavor with a pleasant heat on the tongue, reminiscent of an authentic neighborhood Italian/Sicilian bakery we frequented in Chicago (where they made their own sausage).

Being born and raised in Chicago, I was skeptical…turned out to be an outstanding thin crust pizza! Some pizza joints outside Chicago fail while attempting to fill a pizza void in a rural area. Stone Bakers has not! Fantastic!

Disappointed with the owners but more so the cook Adam Johnson (you can identify him by his lack of hair/teeth) is rude coke user/dealer to and has threatened multiple customers and coworkers with no recourse. truly a disappointing group of people who make middling pizza also all of the people who are making your food smoke cigarettes and then cook your food more often than not without washing their hands or putting on gloves and finally if you order delivery you pay the drivers wages as they only pay drivers the delivery charge and what ever you tip them (no hourly pay for the drivers)

Omg… I have gone twice now and it takes me 30 min to get here. ( More specifically the range ) but i walked in one day waiting for a friend and omg… It was absolutely amazing!!!! Being born in Chicago i have high standards for my pizza and this place blows it out of the water!!! It taste amazing and is freshly baked!!! Also the lasagna. Omg… I can’t get enough! A must go for pizza lovers everywhere!
