The staff was very efficient and friendly. The food was very good except my brownie was a little burnt. I’d recommend the short ribs, seafood stew, cheesecake and brownie sundae. I was hoping to see an apparition but not this time.

Best takeout I’ve had in the area. The lobster roll was packed with lobster meat and had two whole claws. So delicious. The mac and cheese was good and the brownie sundae was excellent. I look forward to trying more things from here. Really delicious.

Great food, experience and atmosphere. The restaurant was packed, so we found a seat at the bar. The service was very prompt. The restaurant is an old house, and they had a fire burning in the fireplace adding to the atmosphere. Definitely a place you could go for a nice date night. The food was incredible, the salmon I got was the best dish of salmon I have ever had. I literally wanted to lick the plate! All around an amazing experience!

Fantastic restaurant for lunch or dinner. Great menu, including loads of beers on tap and great cocktails. In warmer months the outdoor seating is lovely. In colder months the fireplaces inside bring a quintessential New England feel to your meal. Just sitting in the bar area is very nice. The history of Stones is very interesting, ask about the ghost!

Perfect everything… we had no reservation – they fit us in; many selections for my crew’s needs; we had a good table and the bar looked inviting, many beer choices; service was good and plenty; food quality and taste in every meal. Should have gone there much sooner! This is a gem in a nice quiet town.

GREAT and very friendly customer service! Nice patio dining area! Food was hot and promptly served! Food was largely proportioned, but extremely bland.
