Wonderful little coffee & tea shop with a comfortable atmosphere for grab-and-go drinks as well as longer stays for working, meeting with friends, or simply enjoying a sip while people-watching from the window seats. The menu of drinks is excellent, whether you just want a standard coffee or something a bit more complicated (their boba milk teas are great – highly recommended), and the bagels and snacks they have available complement the drinks well. The owners are extremely friendly and happy to offer recommendations, too, which only adds to the shop’s appeal.

Super friendly staff. Two different staff members introduced themselves while we were ordering. Delicious coffee drinks- I got an iced mocha and my partner got a maple latte. Both were balanced and tasty! Atmosphere was great as well. Chill music not too loud. I had an hour long call for work and didn’t have any interruptions!

We were looking for good coffee as we passed through the area on our travels. After reading their website, we knew this would be a winner, but it turned out to far exceed our expectations. First, the coffee…so smooth and delicious. Even black cold brew was super smooth!! Ordered the breakfast sandwich with sausage. So good!! And I’m so thankful I got a cinnamon roll (made in house) to go. The BEST cinnamon roll I’ve ever had. The icing was just the right amount of sweetness and there was just the right amount of cinnamon. We are putting this place on our list of places we will continue to visit as we pass through from Chicago to Massachusetts.

Excellent coffee and teas prepared by staff who often remember your name, your order, and if you prefer a chat or a quiet hello. We travel past several shops that are much closer to get to Storied. The chill vibes (and cinnamon rolls) are worth it.

A great place to settle in for an amazing cup of coffee and a wide assortment of cafe’ concoctions: espresso, milk teas, matcha, boba, chai, etc. Love the literary motif and the curation of used books for sale. This place is a gem. I hit it up every-time I’m back in town or passing through.

Very cool coffee spot. Lots of books and games to stay busy while you enjoy your drink / pastry. Everyone working there was very friendly, drinks were delicious.

This review is comprehensive over the course of many months. Frozen Bagels that start at $3 prepared by gloveless staff who sneeze into the open air. When I addressed this the staff laughed, maybe embarrassed but not apologetic or seemingly concerned about sharing their gems. Unfriendly service by most staff, which more often than not takes incredibly long even when few to no other customers are present. Drink prices have become shamefully expensive. For those who apparently aren’t impacted by rising prices everywhere and don’t mind throwing money around, this place is for you. Many residents in Scotia aren’t living in a situation where these prices are realistic, which will be the businesses down fall especially when combined with subpar staff/service. They might see it as survival now, but I believe it will catch up with them. I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels this way. I don’t recommend any of it.

To the Lily person who wrote a 1-star review: Get off your high horse and maybe sell that horse if you’re complaining about prices of a small business. If you want to get cheap coffee, go to Dunkin’. This place is great and a jewel of the neighborhood.

Went with my 2 children. I had a wonderful iced strawberry matcha latte. Really cute place with an antique cozy vibe. Good service. Had options for children also. My son enjoyed the hot chocolate and whipped cream.
