Meh. Pizza was lukewarm, not cheesy, and pretty flavorless. Tables were greasy. Garbage where you bus your plate was overflowing. What is great about this place, though, is it’s on the corner and you can sit at the window and watch everyone. That’s pretty great. I’d almost go back… Except for the pizza.

Really great NY style and really nice people. My son And I stopped in for pizza 3 or 4 months ago. we were visiting Portland so asked about good clubs to go to and they gave us some recommendations. a few months later we stopped in again and the guy at the front remember us! Will always go back when in Portland.

If you want cold pizza and an hour long wait to get it, then this is the place for you. For $24 dollars I expect to be getting a really good pizza, but all I got was a cold, bland, tasteless, and completely underwhelming experience. Not worth it at all. Don’t go.

I had a gift card here because I bought pizza from here during the pandemic and ended up with beard hair in my pizza.

It’s been 18 months of pandemic time since I’ve gone anywhere for a slice. When I was finally feeling confident-ish enough to look for a place for a weekday lunchtime visit, the searches I did for my old standbys showed that most of them are doing whole pie take-out or delivery only, and they generally don’t open until 4 PM. SFNY indicated that they were open for lunch, and serving slices.

First let me say I always try to leave positive reviews. However when things go wrong I have to be honest. We stopped in for a slice after a movie and ordered four different types of slices and a gluten free slice. The tables were all dirty so we chose two and had to ask for a cloth to wipe them ourselves. Which honestly seems to happen a lot anymore. The four regular pizzas came out quickly and were eaten before any word on the gluten-free slice. We finally asked the cooks to make the gf slice to go but it hadn’t even been started yet. We ended up getting a refund instead of the pizza. Therefore I cannot recommend this place for gluten-free customers. The verdict on the regular slices was unanimously meh. I’m told the pizza was chewy and lacked flavor.

Great pizza on the go by the slice! I got a custom one with sausage, pepperoni, bacon, spinach, green peppers, onion, roasted garlic cloves and olives. Worth the price for sure!

In my opinion, these folks win pizza week 2023!! I generally think SFNY has the best crust in town (it’s perfectly thin and crispy while simultaneously being tender, chewy, and above all very tasty!) for any slice. Big slices, not too overloaded, great topping combos.

Pretty weak. Service was okay. Barely any art on the walls. The music was too loud to have a conversation. The bathroom was dirty, with no soap or paper towels. The one trash can was overflowing.
