So I ordered California Rolls from Straw Hat Poke along with. Matcha Green Tea Boba drink and it was all disgusting and the sushi was gooey and gross and tasted old. I couldn’t eat it. Felt sick to my stomach. Hoping to get my money back but I’m not counting on it. I never do.

Straw hat is the best poke in college town, hands down. Their ingredients are always so flavorful and fresh. They have some good deals on sushi, and a good selection of boba! My favorite part is how you can choose 2 proteins, already included in the price.

A group of us at a summer camp we’re going to Publix for $5 sushi Wednesday. I had walked into the place the day before to get a menu. I showed some of my friends and I convinced them to try the place out. So about 10-15 of us walked in and ordered 4 dinner plates. Everything was out within 20 minutes and for the price I do not think the quality can be beaten in the area. 10/10 recommend the place for eating

Made my own poke bowl, the fish was insanely fresh, the sauce was probably the best poke sauce I’ve had so far in Tallahassee. Can’t speak how service is when it gets busy, I went in during a slow time. But the food checks out. Will be coming back.

My daughter loves this place. I’ve eaten here twice with her. They have a lot of gluten free menu items. The fish is fresh. Small, family owned business. We had three poke bowls. Everything was delicious. Only complaint was I ordered the wasabi/sweet dressing and I think they gave me straight wasabi as it was quite hot. Reasonably priced.
