GEM of a little restaurant. I’ve had a lot of orange chicken, but theirs is the best. Tangy, fresh, delicious. Also had the stir fried green onion beef, amazing! We’re down this way a couple times a month and will definitely be bringing home dinner!

Finally had the chance to try this neighborhood spot last night for take out. Ordered kung pao chicken, orange chicken, Mongolian beef, eggplant in garlic sauce, and hot and sour soup. Everything came piping hot so you knew it was cooked to order, veggies were crisp which means they know the duration and order to cook ingredients, and unlike most Chinese spots, food wasn’t overly salty or oily. You could really taste the spices like garlic and ginger and all the dishes were great. Big portions and excellent value. Glad it’s close by but I would definitely even drive out for this place!

My husband, our friends and I tried Street Wok last night, we ordered for Pickup. I had the spicy dumplings, they were really tasty and actually spicy! I also tried the sesame chicken. It is as tender and delicious. My husband tried the shredded potato and liked it, but it was definitely a vinegar-lovers dish, a little too vinegary for my preference but he liked it a lot. Our friends got the General Tso’s chicken and the hot and sour soup. They liked it a lot! This was only the 3rd night they were open and like all places in the US right now they are a little short handed and one of their shipments didn’t come in so they did not have the fried milk or the garlic cucumber. My only real complaint was that rice does NOT come with the food so you have to order it in addition to your food. The rice was also a tad on the soggy side but not so much that it was inedible, to be honest that is just me being nitpicky. We will definitely be back! Can’t wait until they have their full menu up and running and their vibe set inside!

There are so many delicious dishes here. Some of the things we ordered were really quite spicy. Highly recommend the cumin lamb, and salt and pepper squid.

I am always on the lookout for the best General Tso chicken and this place didn’t disappoint. The chicken was still crispy when I got it home. The only thing that I can nitpick is that rice was not included with my entree. I didn’t see this indicated on the menu, so I had to cook some in my rice cooker when I got home. Otherwise, it was yummy. I love the fresh ginger slices in the sauce. It really adds a nice kick. I will definitely be returning.

Great food and service, loved the crab puffs! Also, a meal for three adults that included two small bowls of soup, three family style entrees and an appetizer was under $60. Last week we ate at a similar restaurant that was $30 more for the same amount of food, no drinks!

Ordered take out and the food was extremely flavorful and tasted very fresh. We got the hot & sour soup (great spice level), green beans, and orange chicken (wasn’t too orangey or overly breaded). The prices seemed comparable to other Chinese restaurants, but the serving sizes were quite large. Highly recommend.

This is definitely my favorite Chinese place in Portland! My favorite dishes are the fried rice, General Tso’s chicken, and the honey walnut prawns. You’re paying for top notch quality here! I’m so glad we have this addition to the neighborhood. I’ve been twice in the past month and I plan on going again this week.

I went here for lunch around 1:30 on a Friday for some chicken Chow Mein, and an order spring roll. It was really delicious!! The vegetables were all crisp and had some welcome scorching. The meat was chicken breast -which I like more than dark meat- and it was cooked perfectly; not too gummy not to soft. If I had to make a criticism, it would be that the dish had a strong fish flavor from the oyster sauce. I had to soften it a bit by adding more soy sauce but it was great; I’d order it again. Unlike the Szechuan Chef place near Zupans, Street Wok provided a meal that was not spicy nor did it have any noticeable level of spiciness. The spring rolls were nice and crispy and had a good flavor. Theyre vegetarian but there was a paste? sauce? something inside that provided a gel-like texture. Tasted great but if youre a bit too sensitive on texture, I might recommend to not get the rolls. The sweet and sour sauce accompanied the rolls nicely, although a bit too sweet to counter the savory rolls for my taste. Still, please dont misunderstand, I am in no way suggesting not to order them. Theyre pretty tasty and were fried to perfection! As of April 14, these two things cost 23.90. I will come back and explore the menu!
